CYMA is a Swiss manufacture owned by Stelux Holdings International Ltd. A public listed company in Hong Kong.

It is a swiss pedigree but is owned by Hong Kees.

It uses ETA movement aka mass produced factory engines by the Swatch Group. To me, it is no different btw a Tissot, Certina, Cyma or Ball..... They are just different on the outside.

I think the EU should have an Anti-Trust Law against Swatch & Co for buying up all the small watch maker. This kills competition and creativity.

Seiko 5 is around 36mm ~ 38mm, 10mm thickness in countless designs to choose from. BTW mine is 36mm
Get a Seiko 5 and buy a leather strap separately.

Or

Check Seiko Premier range.

My current daily watch is an orient auto and I love it very much!
The watch had been with me for more than 2yrs and its time for a service.

I did a search and I fell in love with single dial watches such as meistersinger and schumburg. How much are for the below?

for seiko and orient.. i found the price in creation watches quite attractive.. and i just bought my orient ray from them..

more seiko 5's are coming out with the 4r36 movement...just a matter of time before the skx007 gets it

today the competency is quartz and certainly Eco-Drive that even goes on their campanola line.
they do make alot of miyota movement for the used others, but quartz movement production is always that high even for ETA.
The purchase of Prothor Holding SA may change their direction for their campanola line.

Are you thinking of the regular Bond SMP or the Planet Ocean? They're both wearing co-axials.
The PO is offered in 2 different co-ax calibres, 2500 and 8500, with the latter being the newer one.
Model numbers or reference pictures will help!

Aqua Terra also... Omega's going all co-axial escapement

Not the George Clooney model. It's the old Sea Master 300 M GMT model with CO-Axial.

The blue face looks so polished , prefer that

aqua terra 8500 isnt really thick la, 13mm or so only...while the older aqua terra 2500 is thinner.
thick is for the PO 8500 at 16mm...it is made to be a real dive watch anyway

i think the co-axial SMP GMT is thicker than the aqua terra 8500.

I am thinking to get this Maurice Lacroix le classiques chronograph. I am still a bit reserved about Maurice Lacroix as it is not as famous as others on the same range like Tag Heuer. But comparably, it's much cheaper than the Tag Heuer Carrera Chrono.

Would appreciate to get some inputs from everyone here.

I wipe it with the IWC cleaning cloth after wearing, before putting it back in the box.
Every now and then, when I'm feeling very free, I'll remove the the watch head and brush it with a soft toothbrush under running water.
Bracelets get similar treatment too.
Seems to work so far for me

I heard that Maurice provide most of the Swiss made mechanise out there.
And this brand is so rich with its brand .very good brand indeed

Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece and Pontos series is one of the cheapest Swiss in-house movement you'll get in the market. Jaeger-Le-Coulter is the next in line for that title.

Good choice if one ever get ML (only the Masterpiece and Pontos series).

The above series starts around RM 20K.

I used to own a pontos rectangulare chronograph.
Movement is a 7750.
Nice watch.
Retail for pontos starts at 7000 for normal date and time watches but i understand that you can get decent discounts.
As for masterpiece collection, only some are run on in house movements... Not all.
I find their designs fresh and modern... Young watch company but i like the way they're heading.
