Hey guys, really new here. Looking to buy watches in the range of RM500-RM600. I like big watches, with simple designs but stylish as hell. So far I've been to City Chain and Wah Chan and looked at some models of Police and FCUK which look pretty amazing. These outlets have 10% discount on the watches so it's pretty alright. Wanna ask the Watch-guru's over here if there is any other shop (your friends shop/any other retail shop) that you know of which has a good selection, and good prices. THANK YOU SO MUCH!     

The MSRP for the SBGA005 Spring Drive GMT is 19500, and i get a 30%+5% discount so it comes to about 13k for this watch.

yeah that's why i'm having a dilemma now, because this will be my first big purchase and im lost between GS spring drive or the new sub c 114060.

The sales does told me that it takes about 3 months time to send it to Japan for servicing.  but i'm really mesmerized by the spring drive movement, it is so smooth it is surreal.

Yeah a lot of people have been telling me that, I wonder why? Anyways few days ago i went and try the 114060 sub c no date, the feeling when the watch is on the hand is definitely different, i don't now whether issit because the Rolex advertising is playing tricks with my mind but i do feel my heart beats faster when I'm wearing the rolex.

does it mean that the non cosc sub is not as accurate as the current model?

For brand new watches, COSC could be a "feel good" factor for out of box experience. At least know for sure it'll fall to -4/+6 standards.

Other than that.. I think it's more cosmetic and not relevant.

guys actually how important is it when you purchase your rolex to have your on name on the registration card? Does it even matter if you claim a watch that doesn't have your own name on the card?
