Just ordered my GD-100-1ADR from creationwatches for USD89. This will be my first ever G-Shock. Been admiring it since the high school days but never got the chance to own one and my first watch is a Swatch Irony.

Ordered midnight last night and status was "Shipped" today. Since they are only located in Singapore, should be able to reach in 2 days time.

This is going to be my everyday beater/sports watch. Hopefully won't be too flashy even for office wear. biggrin.gif

Here's a humble history of the watches I own since 6 years ago. Did have some el-cheapo pasar malam and fake Tag in between though but all did not last me more than a year.

Swatch Irony Cool Days (Light Blue) - 2007 till 2010
*Bought for RM299 and sold it for RM100. Love the blue but at 37mm felt too small for my wrist.

Swatch Irony Chrono Windfall - 2010 till Present
*Favourite watch of all time. 40mm case. Bought for RM499 in 2010. Oddly, it's currently retailing at RM595! Everything is great except the design of the strap which combines rubber and steel. The weak link is the rubber which has tendency to stretch and snap. It snapped for a second time last Friday. Going to get a replacement leather strap from Red Army Watches soon.

Tissot PRS516 Chrono Quartz - 2012
*Newly acquired beauty. Read the review on http://www.gadgetmac.com/alt/tissot-prs-51...h-hands-on.html and instantly hooked. Ordered (RM1320 after 20% discount) last Sat and will be arriving on Tue/Wed. Can't wait! rclxm9.gif

Casio G-Shock GD-100-1ADR - 2012
*Always envy friends with G-Shocks as could never afford one during my school days. Decided to pull the trigger yesterday as found a good deal (USD89 or RM284) on creationwatches which came with 2 years warranty. Local retailers are selling at RM290 to RM330 with 1 year warranty.

Next up will be an automatic. Currently looking at Tissot Seastar 1000 Blue. biggrin.gif

Guys, need some input.

Have passed the PRS516 to my old man since his old Casio has broken.

Currently looking at the Hamilton Khaki Aviation QNE H76515533. Price is about $595 which translates to about RM1.9k.

Any better options available out there for an automatic at that price range?

Where can I find shops which has Hamiltons on display?

Ahh creationwatches doesn't carry them. Any idea where to find? Looks great and affordable as a daily beater watch. smile.gif
