anyone got MMHE HR email here? where to find their contact email? google didnt help got their email in uni, but lost now

do u have the hr email? my friend used to work there for 2 months last novemeber, now she's continuing her degree. she told me that they gonna recruit around august/september. i dunno true or not. now cannot contact her, cannot ask the email

its not only about shipping la..MMHE also is the fabricator of Jacket & Topside (Platform) and several other offshore structure

guys, i was offered INSEP training program in piping design. 3 months training at shah alam and the rest of the training will be on job training at technip.
what do you all think? good thing? i am actually very happy but i dont the future of being piping designer.

For almost half year, I'll been trying all the way (website, forum, newspaper, oilcareer.com bla bla bla) to apply for a position in OnG. Same like bro pandikar, my luck also haven come... but surely i am not gonna giving up.

Bro Noyze, any suggestion for me? I desperately need some advise. Miri... wow. Hope i will be there soon.

haha. i know. bcoz laz 2 month the crude oil tanker i've sail with go to mmhe for drydock. we've been there for 2 weeks. luckily go malaysia. tired of gulf of mexico and texas already. in mmhe, i can see some construction going on there which i don't know what.

btw, mmhe workers mybe around half. all the others are mostly sub-contractors.

Dont come to middle east now, it is superb hot down here, like a big sauna room =.=! Btw, i'm talking Qatar offshore, MOQ. Going back Malaysia tomorrow ^^

dude...piping design future?? let me put it this way..u transfer gas/oil thru pipe. u transfer it back to land with pipeline(one of the option asides from FPSO..bla.bla...) so basically..ur future is as good as OnG future.. plus..piping design also can increase ur opportunity in Refinery,manufacturing..bla..bla...

I have asked Johor Dev Skill Centre, Welding Institute of Malaysia, ADTEC, & MINDT Training & Certs company. If any of you know where to attend other than these, please suggest to me.

And also, anyone would like to share some experience as a Welding Inspector?

Geophysics 1st year undrgrd here. Already got JPA scholar but TALISMAN came to my univ and will be giving 4 scholar to my class which is only 19 ppl..ques is shud i turn JPA down for TAL? They indeed offer more allowances and stuffs. Upon graduation, i`ll hav mor chance with TAL..Is TAL a good company for me to start my career?

being a fresh grad with a Mechanical Engineering background, can somebody here pls enlighten on what kind of positions can we get into and the required knowledge or skills. For example:

a) Piping engineer- knowledge required: software ABC, Mechanics of Materials, etc..

b) ... engineer- knowledge required: ....

c)

at least I'll know which to focus in and what to improve on.

I find that its really hard to get into the OnG industry as a fresh grad.

i am not from Malasia though, but i `ve met the same situatian as some of you did. Currently there is a real problem for recent (green) graduates to find the job by profession. Even i being an engineer on offshore technologies and techniques now have some complicationts with being employed, though i was good at universiry Anybody needs experiensed or mature highqualified staff . Where to take it ...ahh? Nobody cares. The only thing i understood after graduating, having put my pink glusses off, is that your markes(received by you at university) are not of anybody`s interest at all:(

Well at the present time thinking of aquiring some "working" welding courses to begin my career from. Hope that will not be not needed....

Hi there. My previous company sponsored me with a short welding course under the FMM institute. You can check out the website here. The website even offer certification for Black Belt Six Sigma. Pretty cool.

However, I can seem to find the certification course for welding in the website. Maybe you can email them to find out more? I hope that I've helped.

If you're a fresh grad, first determine ur industry. If you choose O&G, then i would suggest that you try for graduate engineer position. I don't think any MNC company would hire a fresh grad as a project/welding/etc engineer. You just have to start as a Graduate Engineer or if you know some insider in the industry. Remember, competition is tough for a position as Graduate Engineer. So, good luck!

You can try to find o&G job at KBR, Leatherhead. I went there for HAZOP last month.
