Dude, U wanna stay a sales engineer? then stick to SALES!!! u're a salesman not an engineer. Get your stuff sorted out dude.

As for pulling anyone in.. I dun see you guys rubbing any shoulders with me? so how? lolx. i'm currently based in Miri, sarawak, and i'm sure you guys are not cos if you are you would know how it works in O&G. Heck this is an Oil Town anyways.

Houston? I was based in Houston in like 96-99. Sorry am not there now lolx

You're rite, Noyze. I'm not from Miri.

Been using all the ways I could think of (friends, websites, forums, blogs) to get into OnG,
but lady luck is not on my side (on this one) blush.gif

May I know is there any way for a person from Semenanjung to get into OnG in Miri?

Triad,

Which one did you choose?

And if I may ask, which one is better in term of:
1.) Salary
2.) Work-life balance

Noiseemunkee,

If I am you, I'll attend both interviews.
After all, you got nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Now i'm a kuli oni. Marnie HSE Specialist. Got sucked back in, into the marine line after I left it like YEARS ago. But it is an advantage for me now as there is a need for Marine HSE but lack of marine personnel who can run HSE effectively. I guess i'm lucky cos after i left the marine line, I ventured into HSE and loved HSE so much until this offer came, I ws reluctant but well the offer wasnt that bad so I grabbed it after I finished my last contract ( I freelance btw) SO now this is like the longest contract 3 +2 yrs and it's so relaxing lol. Plus I get to argue with HSE ppl who do not know much about marine and argue with marine ppl who do not know much about HSE lolx. I guess i fill the gap? lolx
