RM 18 x 12 month = RM216 extra spending... sweat.gif
If the upload speed higher, might consider. Now my bottleneck is upload speed, not download speed. Unifi not available in my area.

If you're wishing for more upload speed, wait for unifi. I had my 4Mbps capped at 5128dl/1233ul before, it was horrible. I only used about 100kB/s uploading speed my internet went haywire (disconnection, 2k latency). I guess it was ADSL limitation or something hmm.gif

I seriously doubt unifi will ever reach my area since its not high income area.

Anyway how will this be cap?
Will it be like our 4mb (4096) ask to be cap at 5120.

So 8192 ask them to cap at 9126 to enjoy full 8mb or just 8192?

So all areas that already has 4mb already supported this 8mb yet?

it's gonna depends to distance of your house between the exchange port... SNR margin and line attenuation also will cause the speed capping...

Even the technician was surprised there was an 8mbps package, called me twice just to confirm if I was actually subscribing to Unifi (no fiber at home, I highly doubt there will one for a long time since I live in quite a kampung area).
Before this I asked the operator to check for 2 numbers, one for my home and another a house I rented at Kertih. Apparently there's still no port open at Kertih.
