It is a new bandwidth option to complement the existing 1, 2 and 4Mbps and will be offered at non-UniFi areas only. Utilising TM’s existing copper cable, the service will be offered upon successful completion of the line quality test. With the launch of these packages, customers at non-UniFi areas will be able to enjoy higher bandwidth option. The 8Mbps bandwidth will be offered to Streamyx Consumer, OIAB, Business Broadband SoHo, and Business Broadband 1 and 5 Fixed IPs. Order for these packages can be made on 8 January 2013 onwards. Anyone applied for 4mb upgraded recently?
It seems no modem wil b given and the technician wil nt b going ur house for installation anymore unlike previously. |
