I updated my 1Mbps to 4Mbps via online 1 week ago.. But my speedometer just 1.7Mbps.. They upgraded my line remotely (according to 100 cust service).. but my modem D-Link DSL-2640B modem shows

Downstream Line Rate (Kbps): 2047
Upstream Line Rate (Kbps): 511

SNR Margin (dB):Down/Up 31.1/28.2
Attenuation (dB):Down/Up 20.5/10.8

Is there anything I need to do in setting up my modem? I called 100 and report the problem, the guy just noted my case, give the ref no and told me someone will e contacting me within 24hours ... but it's >24hours already..

Yeah.. TM net forgot to open my line to 4Mbps    .. but now after complaining then only they open.. 

guys i just upgraded to 4mbps from 1mbps. line is faster (obviously) but why speedtest.net always say i am in kuching 1?

and for some reason my line now very unstable... is this common? I never experience this kinda quality before with 1mbps.

tmnet tech come to change the copper cable too
but still same problem...

yesterday signed up for 4mb from 1mb streamyx, they said technician will come to my house next week..
today i discovered that my internet speed has increased a little..probably 1.5mbps speed..i wonder if it is normal? need to wait for the technician to come to 'activate' the 4mbps speed?

Hi... I wanna know is it the TM really cap or strict the TOrrent? Since monday, my torrent download is like a SNAILLL.... and so are the DDL. I'm using 4MB line. Can anyone help? Thanks...

TMnut gave me Zyxel P600 router it keeps disconnetecing my line its more than a yr old...they suggested i change the router...do you guys have any idea whats the best router that will give me best and compatible performance with 4mpbs line?  Budget rm 100

Testing out VPN, top speed I can get is 60-90 kilobytes per sec. Averages at 70 KBps most of the time.

US/Germany/HK/Netherlands/Switzerland/Canada.

All same result.

Tell me about it when all this while I've been going on full speed, and previously when the throttle was in place, I was still on full speed on the VPN.

And only now I can't. Same old pc, same old settings, same old VPN. Nothing has changed for the past 2 years.
