Actually ADSL can go up to 10mbps, but I guess telekom not dare to roll out, as will let people complaint till pengsan. Some other country they offer service base on data quota, so the speed they give max to user. This is the reason why telekom push for fiber to home, Unifi. As fiber optic once setup, it will consistent and no intermittent / noise issue. Anyway, I wait for Unifi come to my taman... argh...  |

i am using 4Mbps package for almost 2 months
i found that after i reach 100GB download, my torrent slow down alot, almost cannot move  is that being throttle after over certain quota? |

It's two way.i found that after i reach 100GB download, my torrent slow down alot, almost cannot move is that being throttle after over certain quota?It won't surprise me that one day torrents from china wont work at all. I've been looking closely my downloading activity for the past 1 mth. Recently downloads from China were rather slow and IDM totally blows. It would jerk badly and stucked at 30kb/sec and sometimes totally jammed at 0kb/sec. After switching on VPN, connection could shoot up to 400kb/sec. After sometime later, it would hover around 200kb/sec. Mind u, it's downloading from Xunlei VIP offline site. |

Anyone facing no connection on kugou application ? pc version cannot download due to server lagging, android version downloaded successfully from google play,but when i enter it ,play or download any song ,it wont run just stuck at 0kb/s if i try at 3-4am i will download,but only 20kb/s max.if i use my data plan,anytime there is still have speed,unlike tm .

Hi guys, just want to check whether my line capable to upgrade to 4 Mbps??? Because I just install 2 MB line, before this a representative from TM said my line is not capable for 4 Mbps, after install 3 days ago the technician said my network can upgrade to 4 MB... I'm kinda confused rite now... Here's my connection... Thanks...

Yes my download cap is at 4 Mbps but max speed I can get is at 2 Mbps exact... The technician said they had to cap at 4096 because of the SNR and attenuation... I don't know what that means but I like TM now because finally I get stable internet speed I always wanted... Browse in an instant and no YouTube buffering 480p... Buffer for a short time for YouTube 720p video... Before this I use U Mobile for home broadband... Totally sucks and always dc...
Plus their free WiFi modem TM gave me sucks... Connection not stable... Had to use my old trusty Buffalo AirStation... Now much more stable... My line is blazing fast today, including torrents. Total speed from torrents and downloads is like 500 kbps, theoretical maximum for a 4 megabit line already. Christmas present from TM?

what a surprise...i found out that my plan has been set to i Mbps speed..just a few days ago my hometown house count receive internet connection at all and my father called the 100 and later on the internet is back on but my father dint realize that the speed has change to 1 Mbps..
How they could do this ? i knew its my father fault by not verifying the speed before told the Tm everything its OK..but they should know that they have set it to 1 Mbps speed to my account.. i already lodge a report to them and waiting for their 24 hours respond.. Attached thumbnail(s)
