Sabah got 4mbps coverage?

My downloads can't go pass 110kB/s since Sunday night. Da heck happened?

These few days my 4mb line speed max can only reach up to 200kB/s. Anyone face the same thing?

I think I am an IDM user since forever. Lmao
But I fixed it. Router problem.

My internet package was the streamyx 1mbps till last saturday. And today I got the msg saying it has been upgraded to 4mbps (on last saturday, 1 week ago, they said within 7 working days my internet speed should change).

So I'm wondering. Shouldn't my speed easily go over 400kbps? I mean, my old speed was 120kbps +/- 10kbps.

And this is what I get now.

And my upload speed haven't changed a bit.

Should I call TM?

Then your line is maybe not stable. Try checking your ADSL stat about the snr margin and line attenuation.
It will cause slowdown and high ping when these are not stable.
SNR margin= higher the better
Line attenuation=lower the better
Data rate= most probabily cap with your package speed.
If these none of these got problem. Then call TM. Tell them is too lag.
PS: I encounter these before. My father workplace installed an ADSL splitter and the ADSL state jump to a very terrible state. (Frequent DC of PPPoE and high ping to google.com, super slow download.)

BTW, what do you mean by during this problem occur, ping are at 40-50ms? I can't really get what you mean.
IMO, you should call up to TM and tell them your problem. If cannot, go MCMC

Then, maybe there is something wrong your area exchange.
You can't do anything about it. What you can do is conplaint to them.
Hope they send technician to check you exchange ASAP.

5 Mbps is good already.

This is my max speed I can get for the past 2 years.

TM technician will call you in 24 hours whether its weekend or public holiday.
This is what TM CS told me before.
In fact, they did came to my house on public holiday.

After 24 hours, you better call them again, and if still no action, then MCMC.
