Oh I don't know about it actually. Just my friend asking me to ping to yahoo.
Anyway, I found out that my area is actually covered with 4Mbps as I met the telekom guys around there but people at TMPoint were just bullshitting me saying no 4Mbps yet.

Why bother asking tmpoint pple when u have the option to email them through tm website. Use their email support which has auto generated forms to file a query to them. It'll take 1day*but make sure not during friday because they do not work on weekends*
Usually when they check, they'll ask for your homeline number. Not your address. Those asking for address will always return a not available status.
Btw, it's not advisable to haunt their techline everyday due to some lagging. It might be an international routing issue.Give it a day or two and it'll go away. Unless you can't login to streamyx totally.
I used to did that before and i've experience the worst case whereby they directly switched my 1.5meg *1meg package* to a genuine 1meg line lol.
Usually when u first got your streamyx package installed, they'll give u abit more juice to your line. 1meg package will have a connected speed at 2meg. Of course connected and true speed is different thing. Yet i could hit 150-170kbps downloading consistently.
