Check if it is really 'random' or it occurs whenever your A/C kicks in. If when A/C kicks in, then its a common problem. Many Preve owners already complain. You'll get the "A/C compressor very powerful..." crap from SC

HU set to auto will dimming gila gila sometime...i just set mine to night mode, becos never use the gps,i only listen to 1 radio station only

done first service at eon sc this morning..total cost rm206; change engine oil and oil filter..engine oil use petronas fully synthetic..they offer windshield washer liquid and magnatrap, but i refuse..haha..just change whatever need to maintain the warranty from proton.

next service 10,000km..

Hi arthur88, maybe I missed it? What is the result of updated HU software and engine adaptation program?
HU no more blinking/flashing like crazy? Engine adaptation update solve the car slow down jerking problem?

from what i observe, not much difference on both aspect.
for the engine adaptation, after applying it, the first time EVER i got mati engine when shifting D to R when making 3-point turn...more responsive as the rpm more lower to move the car...


another thing, everytime i aaply engine adaptation, seems like it will become like i 1st time take car from show room, full tank only manage to get 350-400km....previous i apply engine adaptation also same....but after few refuel, the FC slowly improves...

did your car engine mati before the engine adaptation? i wonder if the engine adaptation you were referring to is the same as ECU refreshed?

I think my preve got some problem. When every time i start the egine, there were weird sound coming out. sound like gear crashing sound

they will reset ECU everytime they apply engine adaptation....
before they apply version 1.4, no mati engine issue...
currently, version 1.5, first time and ONCE, so far mati engine...

SOmetimes like what bro Sanadi said, silicone spray would settle the problem but sometimes its due to the cable inside. If silicone spray didn't settle it, then highlight it to SC.

Setting the HU light to auto really2 goes blinking like crazy sometime bro. The same like maverick said, set it to either day or night then it will be lesser dimming.

Other than that u might wanna opt for VS grounding. Some of of us who tested it also claimed at least the blinking will be lesser.

I think yours is gila2 one because of all the tools inside ur car that has been going haywire everytime u corner here, corner there, then your HU also gila2..

Refer few pages back bro. If ur car's chassis number falls under that category need to get the part replaced. BTW, never seen u before in this thread..

wana try high speed in highway then only can be certain...
i would advise give it more time.... i was thinking maybe got chance to test it if northen region TT worked out, but turn out failed, but still, i want to try max speed with current engine adaptation software version...
