just back from EON SC, doing 2nd service and change the rubber at C pillar left side...
there is new software update for engine adaptation (current version 1.5) and new system update for Head Unit...

how to see your head unit version:
1. press and hold "Setup".
2. turn the "right knob" (which u use to zoom in and zoom out map)
2.1 turn left once.
2.2. turn right once.
2.3 turn left once.
3. then u will see the version number and other settings...

they also cut the driver carpet as shown in prevoc fb...

now its very easy to pedal and rev up to 2k rpm...when there comes more power, comes more fuel consumption...kekekeke

petrol tank rust ady complain last month...just now just ask them to spray antirust on all rust metal under car...

nope, just spray antirust....in my opinion, bottom of car, even paint, no one would notice also....

when i go to EON service, the mechanic holding pieces of paper, those are buletin, dikeluarkan oleh (suddenly duno the english word for this) Edar and populate to them.

1. buletin about users feel the car underpower, need to cut carpet. (which the head mechanic surprised i know about this before he can finished his sentence)
2. new engine adaptation software for preve. (previously i go do engine adaptation using version 1.4, now is 1.5)
3. new system software for Bosch HU. (there is a cd which contains "System", "Navigation", "Audio")got snap pic, later upload.
4. spray antirust for metal under car, specifically certain metals that easily rust.
5. buletin about OWV i think, but due to today is half day, they dun have time to check this. but the head mechanic asked me to leave cars for few days. they want to check the car after being dibiarkan one day not driving it, then need to start and hear the engine start sound. (mine so far occurs once, which i think due to my own problem not press brake pedal hard enough, so not planning to leave my car there)

looks like Proton slowly sebar the problem about preve, very slowly....

Added on September 8, 2012, 5:40 pmstill works perfectly, previously i told the head mechanic about the HU blinking, he said he is going to bring this up to Edar and Bosch, well, about a month later, i go back today and there is new update.

need a week or so only can give feedback...

they are quite dedicated, and really listen to what customers said...well, maybe due to i talk to the head mechanic directly...

many who went to COSE for service, most complain how bad the service they provide, most important of all, wait half day/whole day, only can repair minor things...

probably they will ask u leave ur car there for a week...

well, in my case, they auto do it...

EON SC jalan makloom, turn left when u see Cool World tint shop...not Proton SC....

what the....i was just finish playing civilization 5...long time didnt play game ady...

How to go to Service Menu in Bosch Head Unit

just took this video today...take a look, maybe some of u ady knws it, some maybe not...

i do say press and HOLD right?
anyway, glad u can do it...

there is a log u can see, but it only appears after the mechanic finish update it..then gone...
means can see once only...so far i play around the Service Menu couldnt find it...maybe dun stored in the HU...

actually you guys need to go to SC ask for HU system update....what i shown in the video is merely guide u guys how to go into Service Menu only...means plain monitoring...not doing any updates/repair/etc....

please take note...

if u see my video, i intentionally record longer when i open the version number....
that is the latest version....

one more thing, the buletins, all got dates, all the buletins' dates are last month only, means latest update given by Proton...well, latest date where EON get the buletin i assume...not based when the buletin released by Proton...


maybe Proton got the buletin few months back, but only release to EON last month....just my assumption la...

i experienced one time engine die when in D put to R....then when start engine back, it gives cranking sound, then very hard to start back, rpm hard to rev up, then i off engine, on again, then only can start....


can give advice on what possible problem this is? OVW or OCV? or others?

sure is hazard light? not handbreak light?

did they do it for u? they going to use a laptop, connect to a socket under stering, then just update...

bring back to SC and ask them...i think no way to self-check...

dun tend to get misunderstood...
that update i mentioned is for Bosch HU, not sure got GPS map update or not...
