QUOTE(Saya_Dhuang @ Sep 16 2012, 01:23 AM) Where's this place Dares? Seldom sees Proton SC that allows customer to wonder around in service bay.. Because b4 this I'm in the Saga FLX thread... Just get the Preve from my boss... hehe!Nice! Welcome bro! U've done yours isn't it maverick bro? SOmetimes like what bro Sanadi said, silicone spray would settle the problem but sometimes its due to the cable inside. If silicone spray didn't settle it, then highlight it to SC. Setting the HU light to auto really2 goes blinking like crazy sometime bro. The same like maverick said, set it to either day or night then it will be lesser dimming. Other than that u might wanna opt for VS grounding. Some of of us who tested it also claimed at least the blinking will be lesser. I think yours is gila2 one because of all the tools inside ur car that has been going haywire everytime u corner here, corner there, then your HU also gila2.. Refer few pages back bro. If ur car's chassis number falls under that category need to get the part replaced. BTW, never seen u before in this thread.. Damn, then the new update is more problematic then the old one laa.. |

Better not lest I land them in hot water and next time no more "confidential" docs for me to snap But most smaller authorized SCs don't mind their customers walking around the service area, simply because the customer lounge is not big enough. |

QUOTE(mystvearn @ Sep 16 2012, 10:15 PM) cannot be mod much because of still new or the turbo engine already the most which can be obtained from the engine? For CFE and IAFM+ CVT, the main limiter is the CVT tranny. too much increase of performance may drastically reduce the CVT's lifespan. Especially CFE, which is already operating at the edge of the VT3 CVT's tolerance range. If you wanna mod a Preve, buy the Manual IAFM+. |

QUOTE(tombyron @ Sep 16 2012, 10:46 PM) A/C kicks-in means a/c compressor kicks in right? Not sure how A/C compressor relates to electrical system except that it is on the same belting as the alternator. Could be the tension on the belting is not enough and it causes the a slip when the compressor kicks in. |

Just washed my car and realised there are a few small spots which have chipped of paint, probably from the stones flying off 2 lories that day while I was driving. Damn sakit hati la, anyone know where I can go and repair those chipped parts? Can our own proton service center do it? Am thinking of sending my car for a Permanon detailing session. Anyone has experience with it? Price is RM350 inclusive of wash, and basic claying etc etc. Just wondering whether I should just go with those groupon car wash+polish rather than paying such a premium. |

For complete repair, u will need to to respray the whole body part which has stone chipped. Not detailing the stone chip part. Detailing the whole car. Respraying the whole body part is a no brainer, the chip part is at the bonnet & bumper area.Doing permanon detailing with stone chip on the car? |

You dun get my words anyway. When I'm talking about body parts, isn't refer to the whole vehicle. Only to the affected parts, as you mentioned in the 2nd post, bonnet and bumper. Detailing the whole car where there are stone chip marks on bonnet and bumper front? I would respray the bonnet and bumper and send for detailing right away. |
