That's the older GPS maps of either malsingmaps or Malfreemaps which I posted the link via my signature below .. THe software I used to view the maps is Garmin's Mapsource. Available from GArmin website.

ANyway, those maps were posted ~ 2008 and thuse way outdated haha.. I abit lazy to do the same & posted in photobucket Anyway, the highlighted toll Free routes to/fro Puchong are still the same.

people not from puchong will definitely find it hard to travel in and out but if you know the road, i think you can skip all those unnecessary jams but of course it also depends where you are heading too...

for me is pretty good traveling any time of the day... i dont come across any terrible jam traveling from bukit jalil highway to bandar puchong, pusat bandar puchong, bandar puteri, bandar puchong utama and tesco area...

going to build new VIVO city in Bandar Puteri. no discussion on this? I received emails regarding the traffic diversion problem and a super AGM meeting between Puteri 8 9 10 12 etc. is going to be held soon.

Sg Baru station comes with depot, so you can guess which station is it...

So should be in Putra Height side bcos that Kampung dun really having lotsa lands and most of the land banks are occupied by Kampung folks.. BTW, this soil testing works taken last year at the location of scrapped Stn 11



Now no more progress there after they camped there for ~ 2weeks end of last year

Oh mind. IOI going to sufocate the BP people with ton of building. It is going to getting difficult to go out to the LDP.

Will update you guys regarding the meeting. In case you didn't notice, they might go all out for a protest like the last time regarding the traffic flow. The way it is right now, LLM, IOI and relevant authorities have not consulted the RA regarding decisions made to divert traffic flow which will impact the whole Puchong.

This retaining wall problem in puteri 9 happen few time already. The first time happen at the main road from wawasan to BP. Some rock damage the car that park below. Now all the car don't dare park near to it.

This is 2nd time problem for the inner side retaining wall problem.

I'm staying in Puteri 9 now and I'm in the P9 RA committee. lol. Yes, it's a big pile of mess now. There's few parties trying to negotiate with IOI and so far, nothing's going well except for the negotiation for the communal road to be fixed.

Edited: There's on-going discussions as well. You have directly affected residents representing themselves, and RA representing Puteri 9. I heard Puteri 12 having the same problem. I'm going to have a discussion with committees of P12, and P10 this coming weekend if not the next.

Those owner effect house got good service wor. IOI provide hotel for them during repair duration. And golf cart shuttle for those can't access their house by road.

Residents have been complaining that they got placed in Hotel Orchard opposite Giant Bandar Puteri and the golf buggies are insufficient as there's only 3 buggies at one station and there's 2 stations only =3=

IOI should build a 4-star hotel for them lah, just across the road from 12, got big empty patch of land there .. . OOOOPS cannot, after all the residents complain jam, noise, etc etc.

How bad is the condition? Just effect the road or some house?

It's quite critical. Still waiting for the land report by some government agency. there's crack almost 1 feet in width on the road, and the crack ran through one of the bangalow's house swimming pool and garden. It' affected mostly the other side of the residence but the result of that placed an impact on whole of the taman.

This is bodoh bangang. It's not funny even it's sarcastic. Must be one of those low-cost fellas across the street.

Puteri 9 cases really almost similar to Bkt Angtarabangsa where houses built on top of underground stream.. Very dangerous indeed..furthermore those Puteri 9 houses so new & exclusive...well..for the rich ppl lah.. Kenot give & take wan.. esp the case that house owner got the injunction to stop MPSJ using part of his house as new road

Stn 9 - Wisma Traktor - Puteri Mart - weeks ago minor soil survey but now nothing happening there but there is some land clearing at the empty bushes beside the newly completed biz ctr..but I don't think is the stn location. The stn locaton should be at the junction of Puteri Mart/New biz ctr & entrance of Tractor

Bro, Can you pinpoint the exact location of the landslide. and another thing, I probably messed up Jln Puteri 9/2 wth Ellyssa Villa and thus Jln Puteri 9/2B missing from both malsingmaps & malfreemaps and that google maps pulak copied my tracklog and also probably the wrong road name.. They also followed what I recorded and contributed to the gps communities..

I suspect the 9/2 = 9/2b & jln 9/2 is actually the "ellysa Villa belwo:

Red marks the area of the landslide. Yes, this is the second time that has happened to the exact same place. Yellow marks the potential affected areas pending geometry reports(cracked appearing and soil movement detected).

Pangurban, you're half right. the solid rock foundation is at my side of the road, Puteri 9/1A. The others are mostly land filled hence the tragedy. Now quite big hoo haa la, every 2 days got police come and all like fun fair. But yeah, the EV bangalows all built on land filled still want make swimming pool and all, quite dangerous la see now cracked and all haihs.

This old news on Puteri 9 last year.. I din know there were continous news on same story since May last yr

1 Some or all of the engineers, geologists etc etc responsible for ensuring the safety and viability of the construction didn't do their job properly or lack the necessary experience or are just plain incompetent

OR:

2 The system is screwed up

OR

3 Money changed hands somewhere

OR

4 All of the above.

actually, there's rumours about some "residents" not getting permit to build a hut-like structure on the side of the land collapse area making the soil more vulnerable. but these are speculations la, need to wait till the report come out first. but right now several residents have been taking their case to court against IOI already la. one of the residents got an offer of RM5.5million from IOI to repurchase the house.

he bought that house like few years ago. the problem is..if he settles the claim right there and then, then there will be no action against IOI and MPSJ because right now RA tries to file a claim based on the inconvenience and they are afraid that they will lose the cause of action if that dude just takes the RM5.5mil offer. summore the amount of renovation he did i think roughly around there also la haha.

Now price 2.2mil.

At current price of 2.2 mil, and IOI offring RM5.5mil...for me I grab liao

Like I say loh, the owner say he spent more on renovation wor; and he's one of our leverage in the suit against IOI. so....

Oh by the way, talking about food, I recently discovered this chakuetiau in the New Village and I've been raving about it ever since to all my kakis. It's the coffee shop occupying the corner lot the across the road from 83 (coordinates: N2 59.672 E101 37.235). It's the classic KL/Taiping (rather than Penang) style - quite moist. Bursting with flavour, and every time I've had it, it's come with three big, fat juicy prawns. You also get a small dish of sambal to go with it, also very good. It's the siuchau stall at the back. I've been so wowed by the chakuetiau, I've not been able to bring myself to try the siuchau auntie's other offerings yet.

IWK to upgrade Puchong sewage treatment plants

INDAH Water Konsortium Sdn Bhd (IWK) will carry out upgrading work at its two sewage treatment plants in Pusat Bandar Puchong.

The project will increase the plants’ capacity to cope with the increasing amount of waste.

Work at the two plants in Jalan 8 and Taman Seri Puchong will start this month and is expected to be completed in February next year.

IWK communications manager Shahrul Nizam Sulaiman said the Jalan 8 plant, which catered to about 6,000 people, would have an increased capacity to 9,000 after the upgrading work.

“We will install a new pump at both plants,” said Shahrul Nizam.

He added that the main cause of the stench was the illegal dumping of chemical and industrial wastes near the plant.

“Some people also throw clothes and other solid items into the waste pipe, which caused problems in the treatment process and consequently leakage occurs,” he said.

Puchong MCA chairman Datuk Wong Hock Aun said the enhancement project was approved by the Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry recently.

“We have been attending to the complaints from Pusat Bandar Puchong residents about the foul smell and have highlighted the problem to IWK.


“We hope this upgrade work will tackle the problem and end the residents’ woes,” said Wong.
