Work seems to be gathering pace on the Tesco Station .  Got a big Station 7 sign on the hoardings.  When is Tesco going to close shop ah?
*
Thought it's only rumours, Tesco PBP not going to close down.

I thought I read earlier in this thread that they were going to demolish the Tesco at pusat B and plonk a few tower blocks of flats there?  and that the new Tesco at Bukit P was to replace the one at Pusat B?
*
Many versions of this rumour la.. Anyway, we can see now ST07 construction started and does not affect Tesco, and the rail alignment definitely will not affect it too. So, my take is Tesco is going to stay.

Can MPSJ collabrate with UPM to build something like a hiking trail where hikers can only hike along the built trail and to prevent them from accidentally destroy the floras there? It's really nice to have a forest reserve so near to home and to have something so close but not being able to enjoy it is a pity. But I also agree that uncontrolled entry into the forest cannot be supported as not everyone has the same mentality as you i.e to protect and respect nature.

Anyone recommend anything at Setia walk?
*
If you are referring to food, i don't think there is anything especially unique there. It's mostly pubs and bistros now, 6 as of last count already open. Starbucks opening soon, maybe end of this month. Am wondering if we can walk/jog in there in the morning or not? Seems as a good alternative besides the Wawasan Lake..

*
Well, not like u will swim in the water, lol... TGV will be in. Mid-high end restaurants... a few will be coming in. Maybe ur definition of mid-high end is different, but Cafe Barbera in Bangsar and Decanter will be opening here. Sushi Tei, Brussels Beer Cafe also...

If not mistaken it's for the relocation of the current SRJK(T) opposite PFCC due to LRT track running through its compound.

QUOTE(stimix @ Jun 7 2012, 05:29 PM)
That's only on certain deep pool area. I think the centre pool in front of BMS/Share Tea & Museum cafe/pub.. is OK. But as what Ronnie found out, no sign saying kids can dip inside but got danger sign on few locations. Need davkong to explain since he is Setia Walk expert or even staff there?
*
Lol uncle stimix, im not SW staff lar, just i hv vested interest here, that's why im following the development of SW since the beginning. I can tell you since i saw the photos of the pool during construction time, the "pool" is actually only up to an adult's ankle level. Definitely no one can drown there la unless the fella pengsan and fall face down into the water. Even at deepest level it will not pass your knee. I think the "Danger" sign is for precaution, you know, something might happen and SPS won't want to be sued for not informing of potential danger (however minimal it is).

Nah, for those who wanna play in water, this June is soccer month, water soccer!

I believe this is the Litrak's traffice enhancement project to build new flyover for Puchong to Sunway direction. Sort of making the current contraflow "permanent".

This morning on my way to work approx 6.15am, a guy goes naked and posed lyiing in the middle of the road at the traffic light junction in Taman wawasan(near the park) and almost got knocked down by car in front of me as it was qute dim, and he can still waved back. I just quickly continue driving. Dunno what happened next?

Meanwhile the road in front of  Setiawalk(main LDP road, u turn towards KL) which was blocked by barricade was opened this morning and the middle sction of the road before the entrance to wawasan is blocked middle section

Rejuvenate = bring back to life..my bad on the spellin. Shouldnt the Setia Walk people 'bring their place back to life'? Looks dead from the outside and pity those who bought the lots...only the developer is happy getting the sales and money first.
*
I think Phung meant retaliate because SW is organizing many events, that's why IOI is doing some event too for their Boulevard. SW apartments not VP yet, by the time it VPed more shops will be open, not to mention TGV will be open in August too, Celebrity Fitness in July. SW looks dead from outside coz the happening part is at the inner court. Owners already start to count profit lor, no need pity them thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif
