1.2ha of land granted to SJK © Kheng Chee

All drawn out: Pooi (left) and Ng with the plans submitted by SJK © Kheng Chee.
the Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) has finally received confirmation from the Education Ministry regarding the land application of SJK © Kheng Chee in Pusat Bandar Puchong.

Last year, it was revealed that another school, SJK (T) Castlefield, had applied for the same plot of land in Jalan Wawasan 5/3, Pekan Kinrara, to relocate because the proposed LRT project would have six pillars built in the school compound.

It was previously reported that the SJK © Kheng Chee construction committee had received a stop-work order from the council on March 30.

The council had stated that the construction of the school had begun without its approval and had instructed the school to stop work immediately.

MPSJ councillor Pooi Weng Keong said the council had received the official letter from the ministry on May 8 that the school had been granted 1.2ha of land so their planning approval application would be brought to the one-stop committee meeting next week.

“The application for planning approval will have to go through all the various departments for scrutiny before approval,” Pooi told reporters at the MPSJ headquarters yesterday.

Councillor Ng Sze Han said they initially could not proceed with the approval because there was a problem with the land title.

“The Tamil school had written a letter of protest against SJK © Kheng Chee’s application because they had also applied for the same piece of land.

“We have no jurisdiction over land matters for schools so we had to write to the ministry to clarify the matter. Now that we have the official reply from the ministry, we can process their application,” said Ng.

The ministry letter stated that 1.2ha of land would be used by the Chinese school with the remaining 1.2ha “kept for future use.”

“Now that the air is cleared, we urge the ministry to also consider the application by the Tamil school to relocate. The construction of the LRT project has already started and soon, they will build the pillars in the school field and it will not be conducive for the pupils to continue studying there,” said Pooi.

On another note, I asked at the maxis agent at IOI mall just now.  Taman Wawasan don't have the fibre thingy yet so cannot register if you live there, and the RM118 is for the period of the contract only.  Once the contract expires, it's anybody's guess what happens to the monthly fee.  Maybe go down to RM88 kua.  shocking.gif

The agent said no coverage for Tmn Wawasan? When i checked from the above link, it's shows coverage for Wawasan 2 and 4. So what's the difference from the link provided by rayng18? I confused liao hmm.gif

You need to look carefully.  Only the ADSL column is checked for addresses in Wawasan 2 and 4.  The FTTH (whatever that stands for) column is not checked.

ICIC, no wonderla people confuse hah

Few days ago, I ordered pizza from Taman Wawasan using the usual pizza line but they directed my call to PHD at Puchong Jaya. I wanted the usual Hawaiian pizza but according to them their version of Hawaiian Pizza is "Waikiki" pizza. When i received my order, the pizza looks much thinner and tasted nothing like the one from their actual restaurant. Even Domino 's or Canadian is better. I'd rather have it from their restaurant from now on. Anyone experience the same?

Yum yum yum. I just finish my pizza from phd Puchong jaya. Taman wawasan got pizza hut? Where is it?

For delivery, normally from Puchong jaya phd. Sometime I go to giant pizza hut at bandar puteri to order.

No, i meant to say i call pizza delivery from Tmn Wawasan and the taste of pizza from PHD is WORLD APART from their usual franchise outlet.

One defenceless guard manning the boom gate; five fellas turn up with parangs.  Guard overpowers parang-wielding robbers?
Anyway, there is obviously more than one way to get in and out of Puteri 12.  When I went hiking recently up the famous out-of-bound hills one night, cops were waiting at the trailhead when we got out.  They were waiting for robbers who'd tried to break into a house in Puteri 12 and had run off into the jungle.  The cops were very scornful of the robbers. "Apalah, mau rompak pun janganlah rompak masa orang makan malam kat rumah.”
*
If they tied up the guard and went in from guard house, understandable la. But if the guard wave back and let 5 strangers in, that one failed security la. although i have to admit there other ways in since it's bordering the jungle. On another note, how's the plan to introduce guards at Wawasan 2? I saw they start building fence along the main road..

Wawasan 4 dirtier water than usual. Apartment management refused to let resident install filter because each unit has main water inlet and meter outside of the unit and housed in a small room at each floor. They passed the buck to Syabas saying Syabas don't allow any installment to meters... So dirty water are always a big problem here at the apartments of Wawasan 4.. haih

Those apartment behind the setiawalk, is using 1 big water filter for the whole apartment. The waterfilter is just beside the guard house. Maybe you can go have a look and suggest to your management.
*
Oh yeah, totally forgot they installed one for the main pipe coming in the apartment and we have to pay extra RM15 every mth but the water's as dirty if not worst it's might as well not be there at all. They said they clean the filter every week but if you leave the water one day, you can see sediments at the bottom of the pail mad.gif

I got a case of severe food poisoning after eating Hasbuna restoran's food at Wawasan 2 yesterday. Holy shit, I was puking my gut out. I think their fish curry must be contaminated.
I'm sure it happen to others too as a lot of people was having lunch there. I ate at the place from time to time but this is the first time it happened to me.
