OT: I think you can write to google and ask them the reason for removing and asking them to restore it back.

If it stated EPP 0% then it is 0%. I.e. Rm100 pver 10 months will be Rm10 each month.

However that being said, pls visit reputable stores. Because some shops selling electronics or handphones usually like to hike up the price like you mentioned by few % because they do not want to absorb the merchant fees. Bear in mind they are not allowed to do that.

As for credit cards, for more than a month I have been using my Maybank Visa Infinite only since I am overseas.

MBB VI is probably the only card that is worth using in overseas now.

My cousin asked me to bring him SenQ to buy a Samsung Note II yesterday afternoon. They do take AMEX there. I was told that they offer 0% instalment in three different tenures; 6-month, 12-month or 24-month. However, if you choose the 12-month or 24-month instalment, there will be an admin fee of RM25 for 12-month and RM85 for 24-month.

Anyway, i paid at one go with my MBB2 AMEX and i just realized that it is over-limit by more than RM1,000 after i charged RM2,099 to the card yesterday. And i'm also kind of surprised that Maybank approved this transaction even though there was less than RM1,000 of credit limit left then. Last time this happened was more than over a year ago but my card was over-limit by only a few hundred Ringgit.

Same to you biggrin.gif

Last time they didn't. So i hope there isn't any over-limit fee this time around too. Anyway, the transaction at SenQ yesterday has already been billed into my account (can see it in M2U). So far there is no over-limit fee charged.

CAN... you can do it so with Debit Card, depend the Spending Limit that You set on the Debit Card (Usually 5k daily... & some Debit Card with 10k Spending Limit). Actually You can Set Any Spending Limit on Debit Card

Credit Card is No Problem You can Max up the CL of the card...but Yes some Bank have set cash back or Reward point limit on their Credit Card
Mostly them Around $5,000 from total Monthly Spending entitled to get Cash Back or Reward Point & there maybe No or Less Cash Rebate/Point be Rewarded >$5,000... blink.gif

The charges will be known even to the Customer Service as of 31-Jan-2013... it's only know after 3-Feb-2013.
It's good to know Statement Date, Due Date to know when to avoid these charges.

Call the Maybankard CS to "waive" it, acknowledging the CS didn't do her job very well..... Known Fact: anyone who paid late would kena finance charges

Maybank agreed to reversed the amount of Rm18.96, my card is now inactive and there are no more outstanding rclxm9.gif

Is this true?
Well, setting a ceiling on rebate is understandable. As most cards allow you to claim a max rebate of RM50 a month.
But setting a ceiling on reward points earned in a month? Is this true? Anybody experience this before? Which bank?
