The charges will be known even to the Customer Service as of 31-Jan-2013... it's only know after 3-Feb-2013.
It's good to know Statement Date, Due Date to know when to avoid these charges.

Call the Maybankard CS to "waive" it, acknowledging the CS didn't do her job very well..... Known Fact: anyone who paid late would kena finance charges

Just got a call from Maybank credit card dept, they told me that the amount of RM18.76 will be reverse and I don't need to pay for it rclxm9.gif

Yes, you can..provided the bill is listed as one of its payee. not considered as cash advance.

tips: have a look at OCBC titanium, 5% cashback for payment of utility bills.

I doubt any bank would allow that as a retail transaction, it's effectively a cash transaction i.e. u can "pay" to the investment bank's trust account and then subsequently withdraw cash from there.

thats too bad, i was thinking of using this as a loophole to skip cash advance fee and cash advance interest charges

Well at least he was honest about his intention.
john123x I trust you are a grown up and would like to be treated that way. Please use your credit card like a grown up person. If you have such mindset about how to use your credit card ... honestly you don't deserve it!

That's a shame. I also just received this SMS.
Without the 5% rebate, this card is worthless. Even the rewards require several times the points to redeem compared to other banks.
I'm going to see what I can redeem, and then cancel this card.
By the way, I got a JustOne cheque account to go along with this card. Do you know how to cancel the current account as well? Can I just walk into any branch or have to goto that specific Kajang branch?

You dont wait to adopt wait-and-see approach? at least to see what's in store after the revamp.

I might wait until come GST time, around May 2013. But in the meantime there's no incentive to use this card anymore. So I'll most probably keep this card in the freezer.
Maybe I should use up all the rebates still available to me before end of February. brows.gif
