I have checked with HSBC, they have update my income to 40,000 pa in their data-base

Just be rejected by OCBC TITIANUM CARD the card's benefits was better than CITI CASH BACK...

dear all, my friend has recently approached the maybank CC centre in 1U, and inquired regarding obtaining a credit card without pay slip... the support there claimed that CC can be applied as long as there is strong financial funding in your FD/savings (ranging from 20k-70k)... anyone have got any idea about it?
*
MAYBE, YES and NO.... hmm.gif
For MY CASE, I apply GOLD CARD (April 2011) at HSBC Am,
I get my 1st credit card from them with CL 5K... tongue.gif
Later I transfer my FD 20K from other bank to HSBC,
Believe or not I been upgrated to Platinum Card Holder with CL 13K (April 2012) laugh.gif

[quote=raptar_eric,Jun 21 2012, 12:41 PM]So what are the criterias that must be met when you apply the gold card? Anyway, got some info from milesnmore regarding FD being tied down to the bank even if it's possible to apply... so is yours being tied to the bank, since you dont have any payslip?

I got DOZEN REJECTION( Card Application) from them with NO SCOSO ... 1001"S Reason they give me....
LATER ON, I put 25K in their INVESMENT Acc. in 3 YEARS, at the END they give/refund $25,005 back !
JUST $5/ (INTEREST) not even enough for FULL TANK PETROL- My Motorbike ! vmad.gif cry.gif

pls advice.tq

I also did not submit Income Tax I apply my cc through Bank (Walk-in) in 2011 (1st time apply)
I just give them:
i) 3 Months Pay Slips
ii) Latest EPF statement print from EPF koisk
iii) 3 Months Bank Statement which your Salary credited to that Account

I think now very hard to get cc, very Strict many terms & regulations from BANK NEGARA hmm.gif

RHB has been extending the expiry date for the above offers, which is good.

And with you posting about the RHB Visa Infinite's annual fee waiver, it made me go check it out. Well the card no longer needs the cardholder to have a net worth of USD1M but annual income of RM240K/year. It comes with 4 combined complimentary passes to KLIA, LCCT, Senai and Langkawi whic is the same as their Plat Card  doh.gif Overseas transactions earns 3X points. Looks like RHB is trying to attract customers who are into VI but their benefits are lacking compared to other Vis.

Make sure your monthly Basic Salary must $2000/$24,000 per year Your contribution on EPF min. $220 ,
without $2000 Basic Salary, NO Credit Card nod.gif
Try to get Local Bank cc 1st (HLB, RHB) later HSBC, Citibank.... wink.gif susah to get Public Bank cc not much benefit, people seldom use it blink.gif

if i have only one month and a half working experience, but salary above RM2k, whats my succession rate of applying a new credit card? I do not have any car loan, housing loan etc. Clear records.

U got $20-30k or not, U can put into bank as FD (Pledge - something like given your Fixed Deposit as Security) to apply new Credit Card brows.gif
Last times I heard Hong Leong Bank accept this, but usually they give very LOW Credit Card Limit maybe $3000 on this (Pledge) & max. CL maybe up to the amount of your FD only depends on the bank I think... hmm.gif

U better work-hard on your job 1st, maybe half or 1 year later baru..lah U apply Credit Card, the bank won't simply give a credit card to the people just Start Working ! ... nod.gif

Hi all,
wanna ask something,
the other days someone in lowyat approach me with pm saying that he is staff of the bank and ask me to apply CC through him.
after some consideration I have sent him my details for the application but now no news from this guy...
so I wanna ask could this be a scam?
*
If I want to apply credit card I PREFER walking in to the bank than apply through their website online...
sekarang macam-macam ada blink.gif
I don't trust online thing... hmm.gif
