I dont know is it correct to ask here, but how does the cash rebate of CC works?

Okay, let say i pump Rm100 petrol, rebate of my CC is 5%. So it means i only pay RM95 or i pay RM100 but i can get RM5 cash back?
And if so, how do i get the RM5? in cash or transfer to my account?

Thank you
*
you swipe for the full amount, all cash rebates will be credited back to your credit card account
unless it mentions discount with XXX credit cards, they you will swipe the discounted amount

just insert ur CC or debit card into the self checkout machine at countdown, park n save or watever shop
den press the red button den will show Signature required. the machine will then print out the receipt or u sign on the digital board at the checkout counter. no need any pin code.
*

Thanks for standing up for yourself! At least our education here has not gone in vain and it is shocking that a well known retailer dare to attempt such a thing.
You may complain but Maybank is likely to ask for evidence of the surcharge. Retailers are aware of this as well thus they do not separate the cost of the item and the surcharge - same tactic all over the world.  That's why shops will either cost the surcharge into the item price and indicate it as one single price or ask you to pay for the surcharge in cash so that the evidence of their crime is not visible.

Bank penalties for the surcharge conviction can make the retailers cry even for first time offenders. Let alone if caught twice.
*
well, if they make me really mad, i'll buy the same item using cash
then submit both receipts to complain them tongue.gif

How high dpi do we need to scan the pictures at ?
*
i'm not sure, the website did not specify
the one I uploaded was JEPG, 300dpix300dpi, 800x1001, 144KB in size
original by the photo shop is in BMP format, 300dpix300dpi, 950x1189, 3.23MB in size
should not need high dpi, as passport size photo is so small

I GUESSED they will call if the photo quality is not good enough

for self service terminals, just select credit
