cps only euro 4 compliant n only comes with dated 4 at from mitsu n dated 5mt from mitsu which sometimes hard to shift.

There are some market of p3 will enter is euro 5 compliant.

If comparing gen2 cps manual vs p3 manual, yup, still loosing, but compare gen2 cps at vs p3 cvt, p3 is on par. U shud also pwrloss of trans n tech behind it. Not saying cps is not good, but iafm+ is better interm of drivability, unless u r hard revving kind of a guy.

P3 manual 1.6, perform not far of flx 1.3 manual. If u want to try out, try the flx 1.3 manual, is it really bad or just ok. Not the fl@blm, the newly flx that come with getrag transmission.

Entirely forgot the emission thing. Now it really makes sense the usage of IAFM+. But still why dont all have CFE.

Completely different price range-la (and not to mention platform class as well). Buyers will never compare the Saga vs Preve.

If I was buying a Preve, I would compare with the Inspira, Forte, 308T, Focus, Mazda 3, any other C-class sedan below RM110k price (reason being need to consider Proton has higher interest rate, so for the same monthly instalment, I can also afford slightly pricier foreign makes)

Yeah its true, at least proton should put CPS instead iafm+ to executive version.. icon_idea.gif
*
IAFM+ was developed specifically to pair with the CVT.

If need to do the same for CPS = more money.

why proton didnt upgrade cps to euro 5 spec?
or maybe adding cvvt on its intake side to complement the cps?

The keyhole is a major turn off for me. Design wise already not interesting especially the rear. Yeap, design is subjective..

if not preve
the next alternative will be persona
but better get the H-line as it uses rear disc brake
but of course...persona still stuck on 4AT which is the main downside

So now, Proton engine line-up is:-

1. MIVEC in the Inspira
2. CFE in the Preve and Exora Bold
3. IAFM+ in the Preve
4. CPS in the Exora and Persona / Satria highline
5. IAFM in the Persona / Satria / Saga

Correct?

Ya I should be more specific. The trunk area and tail lights are not aggressive enough as newer designs tend to have bigger designs rather than narrow/small designs like this one..

Ya.. the keyhole very old design liow.. though the spec list is very competitive especially to Forte..

actually i'm comparing in term of price. 2nd hand 1.6 forte is not so old. just 2.5 years only with low mileage you can get at 60K+ nowadays.

and 1.6 forte do got esc, which only premium preeve have it. im just trying to compare things thoroughly. correct if im wrong smile.gif
