always a copy cat!! ahahahahhaa... WTF proton.. why sooo like to imitate. aiyo~ looking at those inspira wannabe "lancer" or "evo X" each time I can laugh my ass out.
*
Maybe you are too stupid not knowing inspira is rebadge version of lancer? I thought it is a well known fact and proton never hides it.

Another guy also gave a hint the name starts with p but not ended with a. So it could be true.

i dunno about you guys, but i feel that delaying is good, at least proton is still trying to iron out as much problems as possible before launch. at least, when it is launched (whenever that may be), it should be relatively trouble free, and that should help improve proton's overall image. rather than pushing for the launch to be as soon as possible, some delays are good (in a way)
*
Agreed.

thats the boot la...not chassis

but yeah i agree with u...still keyhole
i always imagine they can use the "logo" to be a button to open the boot like VW
since the button so big...they can turn the logo to be a button..press the logo...thn the boot opens
*
kinda agree, the keyhole does look out of place there.

+1

Design flaw for example the CVT overheat issue in the early batches of FLX. Some may be harmless annoyances, some could be major inconveniences or even life threatening. Warranty or not, they have caused the owners grief and possibly bodily harm.

This is not limited to Proton, mind you, many carmaker have teething issues with early batches of new cars. It is not a QC issue.

I admire those who have faith in Proton and DSZ. But the truth is their track record is tainted, and that's a fact. If you say that their first batch will be flawless, I will believe it when I see it. I would gladly eat crow if I am proven wrong.
*
i bought first batch savvy MT when they put TUV sticker on it, have been driving it for over 6 years now, no major problem. The only problem i noticed is the glovebox handle is so fragile i need to change it during the warranty period.

but of course lah those wear and tear parts i changed when needed.

QUOTE(dares @ Mar 16 2012, 05:36 PM)
Bro, my FLX SE dashboard rattle since day one, CVT mounting noisy, drumbrake noisy since second week, replaced twice, engine jerk like mad in the morning. So dont tell me I underestimate Proton. As much as i like the 1.6 liter with CVT powertrain, it is new tech and all, proton products still leave much to be desired. My car is currently 2 months old, btw.

Good if the P321a proves to be leaps and bounds ahead of their current line of products, I will consider it seriously. But now, with the car that I am driving, you expect me to take a leap of faith and believe that proton has improve drastically overnight?

Like I said, ill believe it when i see it.
*
just test drive when it's available and you can decide later on. After all it's you that will pay for monthly installment.

exora bold's CFE's CVT is VT3 becuz of the torque limit
so the ones in p3 will be VT3 as well
only saga FLX uses VT2

ya...for those that kinda scared...should test drive 99 be4 they buy and wait for reviews
*
Yes i agree, I'm looking forward for the customers feedback and review before I set in stone this would be my future car. Furthermore I'm not In rush to change car at the moment.

Saw the P3-21A............in a box.

In real life, the car does like sharp, especially the headlight and also the side crease.

If I want to get this car, it would be solid white.
*
i want to believe when i see it myself tomorrow. i hope they will display the complete car by tomorrow.

The car back from Spain was met by Bomba Malaysia. They were told to cut of the main body panels to take out the occupants (if there is) in the car.
The B-pillar is so tough that their drill bit actually broken. Took them more 15minutes to complete the task.

Proton car does have ultra high strength steel this time around.

My news source is genuine, my friends actually designing the collision repair manual for P3-21A/

Premium spec has tint with break resistance, according to leaked out specs in blogs.
*
With the price different I think most users will opt for premium version. Only need to top up a few thousands for much better features. It's whether customers will pick manual version or premium version.

Added on March 18, 2012, 10:44 amHonestly I've never been so excited about proton's new model until this one. Perhaps because they're hype it as a global car.
