1.6 iafm dapat 80kw jer. kalo aku angkat forte 1.6 second hand, enjin 1.6 die dapat 93 kw. patut ke aku angkat proton baru ni? enjin non cfe tu tak power langsung utk badan besar dan berat kete ni…
lagi satu forte ada esc. proton baru ni esc hanya pada model premium jek. senang cite bg aku, p321a hanya berbaloi beli utk model premium jek. daripada model executive tu better korang beli persona lama sebab yg baru ni hanya ada kelebihan pada aksesori je.
err what do you think? im just a newbie. and i am seriously searching for a new car next month. help me to decide la.

QUOTE(mat79 @ Mar 15 2012, 01:48 PM) i dun understand when someone stated exec p3 dun have esc n etc, but i think the same as forte 1.6 which one of his choice. but still wondering why u choose executive lines for p3 which shud be around 65k+- when u can spend 79k for forte 1.6 ex, while need to spend 85k+- for sx 1.6, same safety equip, vios at 80k++ with less safety equip, n if talking about power output, still less than iafm+,but u can opt for 75k p3 which has bundle of safety specs, which cheaper than forte ex n sx 1.6 n even vios j. Sometimes it makes me wondering how prtn need to do coz already give out i think the best value in money in malaysia, but still, people only want to spend on medium line, luckily doesnt have for the moment the baseline,if not, people will choose the most basic spec even if he afford the highest spec. Ha..ha.. Malaysian, including me :-) second hand forte plzzz. not new forte. for 60K+ youll get better spec than executive preeve. This post has been edited by sp3d2: Mar 15 2012, 01:51 PM

QUOTE(ben_panced @ Mar 15 2012, 01:56 PM) lol comparing a second hand car to a new one.. this is a failure in so many levels that i cant begin to describe actually i'm comparing in term of price. 2nd hand 1.6 forte is not so old. just 2.5 years only with low mileage you can get at 60K+ nowadays. and 1.6 forte do got esc, which only premium preeve have it. im just trying to compare things thoroughly. correct if im wrong

QUOTE(ben_panced @ Mar 15 2012, 03:30 PM) 1.6 forte EX dont have ESC only the SX model got it and please a 2.5 years old car is the not same like a new car, even the new car smell is not there anymore yes only the sx got it but still the price is very tempting and the condition still very good. which give me headache to choose and i dont really care bout the smell bro. but thanks for your input. even mazda3 1.6 engine is not so powerful as forte 1.6 so i guess it's ok then.

QUOTE(GameFr3ak @ Mar 15 2012, 03:42 PM) If you're in a city. Then chances are no matter how much power you have also means nothing. Why not choose something that gives the best of you while you're stuck in a jam, namely the interior. Also the design of the car that you like yeah you are right but i will be doing long distance driving the most. i work in many places and always traveling. seldom drive in the city. thats why im craving for 1.6 which will give me the most. but i know speed is not everything, it must came wif safety also which p321a have it in premium model. guys. i am a complete noob about car service cost. this model probably will be my first car i assume i'll be moving around 10000 km per year. let say i reserve rm 1200/year for service cost of the premium cfe model. do you think it is enough? need your input. QUOTE(-cmi- @ Mar 17 2012, 01:36 AM) 10,000km only? So little? And RM1,200 should be more than enough. I guess the service cost at least should be same with 2000cc NA car (maybe less). Not quiet familiar with turbocharge engine but if service cost is expensive, it will surely effect sales figure of this car. One normal service normally should be around RM150-RM300 only. thanks. maybe more than 10K km. i can't predict now. i only hope the maintenance cost of the turbo is not too expensive. never own any car before, not even a turbo car

guys. i have check one review on net. vios get 0 – 100 km/h just a little under 12 secs. it is faster than executive preve which takes 12.5 secs. and vios top speed managed to get 180 km/h yet executive cvt preeve 170 km/h only. hmmmmm. that makes me wonder
but premium preve only use 5.8l/100km. what is vios fc figure? premium preve should be better than vios right?

ok. executive preve got 150 nm of torque at 4000 rpm. with weight of 1325 kg. the torque over weight ratio is 0.113 at 4000 rpm
ill make comparison with persona highline. it have 150 nm of torque at 4000 rpm. with weight of 1245 kg. the torque over weight ratio is 0.119 at 4000 rpm
that means persona highline acceleration is better than the new executive preve. this is the not so good part over weight addition of preve. the cvt transmission does not help much except in better fuel consumption.
the executive preve would be much slower than persona highline. correct me if im wrong.

myvi is the best car in the world. even special edition p3-21a which is not even launch yet cannot beat myvi 1.5 extreme.
