Yes! The Seagull SYK-5!!! Do not get the wrong SYK-3!
But it might not work with all Flashgun, eg. YN560.
I tested with YN468, it triggered in the M mode perfectly.

photo coming in the next post....

Normal +10 filter is single element. The Raynox is achromatic (2 groups of 3 elements), providing better image quality.

Brand new Raynox is between RM250 to RM280.

I have one for sale, used, for RM200 if you are interested.

hi there, just wanna ask a noob question, raynox 250 is attached to the lens, so we need a step up ring or step down ring to fix to the raynox 250? so, the raynox macro effect will be better on 200mm instead of 55mm?

i have spent more than 1.5hours to test trigger and flash at the shop.
YN560 apparently is not workable with the trigger.
at last i bought YN468 which is slightly more expensive but with multi flash mode which is what i want!
it did work with the trigger with our NEX flash.

If this seagull works well indoor and out doors, I'm running out of my door to get one. laugh.gif
Do let us know how it handle the NEX preflash.

i was told the seagull might not work perfectly under hot sun.
but i never tested it myself.

The perfect solutions is Optical Trigger + radio transmitter!

just buy from studio zaloon uncle chin or any other shop u can get locally, no need bulk buy lar!
at least u can bring your cam to test any of the flahgun there!
i check the price is not much higher than order online! and it's risk for missing parcel and defected unit.

since not much of choice at this moment for E mount lenses, you may get this for AF macro and also day time prime lens.
i tested it quite ok for AF! and 30mm is good for APSC.

yes, i have read that also.
If u read till the end, he did mentioned:
"If you do not have a good 28mm, then the trade-off is more difficult. How much will it cost to find a good enough manual 28mm? With the risk of being disapointed each time you buy an old lens. With the new Sony SEL30M35 you are certain you won’t be disappointed considering the available reviews."

that's why i mentioned it might good for AF and daylight use.

It's a tight fit on the 49mm E-mount. Raynox specs the minimum mount size at 52mm. It'll be easier to attach with a 49-52 step-up.

Tamron SP90 + +10 filter + Raynox = Fringing and CAs to the end of the world yo!

/fixed

But in all seriousness, the lens will probably touch the subject! Don't think my insects like being treated that way, not to mention the difficulties that come with lighting.

Nola...if you put Raynox and filter then you will have obvious fringing...

Raynox on its own is good...
