Guys, I have a 16GB Pendrive class 10 SDHC which performs noticeably slower than the free Sony 8GB class 4 SDHC on my Nex-5N.

Because of that, I assume Pendrive is a lousy brand.

I'm planning to get a new 16GB or 32GB SD card. Sony is expensive, which brand would you all recommend?

Is it really cheap over there compare to M'sia? When I was there, I dun find their electronics to be cheap except their food haha. furthermore, how about the waranty? covering International or just Taiwan...unless you're like string fellow a frequent Taiwan travellers

That's bloody cheap, actually.

NEX-7 body goes for RM4499, while the SEL18200 normally retails from 2100 ~ 2300. In other words, the lens will cost only RM1400.

MTF charts compared to their FF 50/2.8 EX is great on paper. Can't wait to see some actual shots with this lens. For it's price, it's a really sweet deal. Considering the 2.8 aperture, it's not really a huge issue when you factor in the price and size.

But but but... those SOP sigma worries are for pdaf lens.. this is cdaf. Boh back/front focus wan.

Word is, both 30/2.8 and 19/2.8 were originally designed for their DP2 Merril P&S. We can expect good stuff to come from it. Do note that the final design for the DP2 merril has a different optical construction... 7 elements compared to 6.

In any case, more 3rd party NEX lenses the better.

LA-EA2 is HUGE!!! Totally took away the point of having a nex system... you probably better off with A77 & SAL1650 combo... Also LA-EA2 is not that cheap too... unless you have a CZ or G lens lying around, then yes, LA-EA2 seems like a good idea...

Studo Zaloon will be a good place to test lenses!! even the 3rd party lenses and adapters!
