hi guys, i want to ask which model should i get NEX C3 or NEX 5? I am new to photography, and i have narrowed down to NEX C3 but dont know whether I should get this model or otherwise, in dilemma. Good for long term? any problems using the camera?

Cost roughly bout 200+ for the 16gb one, but well worth the speed XD

Hi everybody, got my 5NK last week, the clicking sound is really obvious and i can feel parts moving inside the camera when i shake it horizontally, how do i get it fixed ? which sony center provide the service ? thanks.

The NEX 50mm /F3.5 macro lens..I was offered ~ RM900+ at one of the camera shop in Digital mall Sec 14, PJ
Ended up getting the macro +10 filter from another stall..for RM150..That also not cheap as I can get cheaper octopus macro filter for RM50 nearby haha

BTW, another of my macro-ing during weekend..dunno why I just like macro-ing flowers  ..This wth +4 hoya filter kua bcos abit far away 

CPL filters can be tricky to use if you are trying to get rid of multiple reflections. Turn here reflections on side A gone, but side B appear. Turn there B gone A appear, or maybe I'm too noob And it's unsuitable for panoramic shots. When used indoors, might have to compensate by +1 to +2 EV.

If I recall correctly, there is only 1 native E-mount macro lens atm which stimix already mentioned. Or you can get a MD to NEX mount adapter for roughly RM50, plus a used Minolta lens for another RM450. However, have to MF lor if use cheap adapters, unless you wanna get LA-EA2 adapter and invest in A-mount lenses

Hit between F16  to F22 aperture, iso 100, 200. It will just black out the objects in the foreground and gives u those deep colors. Back home, use Gimp to change the color balance with more red and yellow.  The problem is  more to .. being there at the right time , right place with the right weather. 
I am starting to think that sunset and sunrise pictures are one of the easiest to get, even without the very capable NEX. Here are 2 photos taken with my Samsung Wave 5mpx camera phone.

Get raynox 250 by all means.. I regretting getting the +10 macro dy 

Normal +10 filter is single element. The Raynox is achromatic (2 groups of 3 elements), providing better image quality.

Brand new Raynox is between RM250 to RM280.

I have one for sale, used, for RM200 if you are interested.

To all Sifu here , is there any nice service camera shop can recommend in Damansara area ? I went three shop but when i ask wheather i can test the camera or not then their face change to black colour . I need a shop that can test properly before I buy , i never use sony camera before have to make sure is it easy to setup for me thanks..

I'm using the LA-EA2 and a Sony mount SP90, so yes, there is AF of course.

Like others have said, when you get down to Macro level stick with MF. You'll want full control over your DoF.

I'd rather not have the degradation that comes with stacking so much glass on the lens. It's minor, but it's there, and on macro level, minor is a lot. Pixel peeping fever I suppose?

X-Pro1 lo. D7000. D800. A77.A65, K-X... still have many choices if can't get NEX. Camera is just a tool; if a person has the skills and experience, the pictures will come out nice irregardless of the brand.

Agreed but my priority is size/weight. Those dslr not an option. X-pro 1 being considered but again, size issue.. Else I already grab those 5dmII for the same price of nex7 lol

Anyway, Sony center called me last night to pick up my virgin kit later straight from factory.

I can teach but MySony giving us all free workshops even in JB, Ipoh, Penang. Got even Bikini model shooting at KK. So which would u choose??.
