QUOTE(Aeon89 @ Jan 26 2012, 04:45 PM) hi guys, i want to ask which model should i get NEX C3 or NEX 5? I am new to photography, and i have narrowed down to NEX C3 but dont know whether I should get this model or otherwise, in dilemma. Good for long term? any problems using the camera? Go for Nex5N, you wouldn't regret to get it |

QUOTE(Dreamworks @ Feb 13 2012, 10:20 PM) CPL filters can be tricky to use if you are trying to get rid of multiple reflections. Turn here reflections on side A gone, but side B appear. Turn there B gone A appear, or maybe I'm too noob I dont mind to MF for macro lens as i believe MF can perform better for Macro , just need to study bit before invest into itExample of multiple reflective surfaces: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « If I recall correctly, there is only 1 native E-mount macro lens atm which stimix already mentioned. Or you can get a MD to NEX mount adapter for roughly RM50, plus a used Minolta lens for another RM450. However, have to MF lor if use cheap adapters, unless you wanna get LA-EA2 adapter and invest in A-mount lenses Added on February 13, 2012, 10:59 pmAny user can share their macro lens'photo?Wish to view on those lens or filter, so can understand more before i study on it Added on February 13, 2012, 11:42 pmAnyone know when Sony launch E-mount 30mm macro lens (“E 30mm F3.5 Macro”)? as per this link? http://sonyalphanex.blogspot.com/2011/06/s...ns-e-mount.html This post has been edited by jimmyyap03: Feb 13 2012, 11:42 PM |

Appreciate that you could share how to use DRI Method for Nex 5n![]() Ombak Rindu by ShutterShuk, on Flickr Added on February 26, 2012, 3:28 pmLooking for 16mm lens, anyone know seller selling on it with cheap price? either new or used 16mm lens... QUOTE(nlik @ Feb 28 2012, 10:34 PM) Hit between F16 to F22 aperture, iso 100, 200. It will just black out the objects in the foreground and gives u those deep colors. Back home, use Gimp to change the color balance with more red and yellow. The problem is more to .. being there at the right time , right place with the right weather. What happen on your Nex?I am starting to think that sunset and sunrise pictures are one of the easiest to get, even without the very capable NEX. Here are 2 photos taken with my Samsung Wave 5mpx camera phone. [attachmentid=2710381][attachmentid=2710383] |

QUOTE(axii @ Mar 5 2012, 11:38 PM) Normal +10 filter is single element. The Raynox is achromatic (2 groups of 3 elements), providing better image quality. Thank for the offering, why you want to sale it since it is so nice to use?Can it fix with 18-55mm lens? or need to use adapter on it?Brand new Raynox is between RM250 to RM280. I have one for sale, used, for RM200 if you are interested. |

QUOTE(dani3lsoo @ Mar 8 2012, 07:42 PM) To all Sifu here , is there any nice service camera shop can recommend in Damansara area ? I went three shop but when i ask wheather i can test the camera or not then their face change to black colour . I need a shop that can test properly before I buy , i never use sony camera before have to make sure is it easy to setup for me thanks.. I believe that you could test the camera in sony centre, midvalley the Garden or The Curve will be the best place for your testingAdded on March 8, 2012, 10:55 pm QUOTE(RX-78-2 @ Mar 8 2012, 06:38 PM) besides, Sony provide a lot of free workshops almost every weekend. Sony 'ffk' me, did not inform me that NEX beginner class cancelled, I only get the sms after the event cancelled it is very beneficial for ppl new to photography like me. if you join the Alphanatics forum, u can see a lot of Pro also use NEX too especially for personal shooting!!! Have to register again Added on March 8, 2012, 10:58 pm QUOTE(axii @ Mar 8 2012, 06:30 PM) Sorry Agreed, ask them to prove that...How good for nikon 1 but not NEx?Added on March 8, 2012, 11:00 pm QUOTE(axii @ Mar 7 2012, 02:13 PM) I'm using the LA-EA2 and a Sony mount SP90, so yes, there is AF of course. So fast?? that Raynox so fast sold out already Like others have said, when you get down to Macro level stick with MF. You'll want full control over your DoF. Thought I sent you a message regarding the Raynox? Had a buyer reserve it. Sold already. Added on March 7, 2012, 2:17 pm I'd rather not have the degradation that comes with stacking so much glass on the lens. It's minor, but it's there, and on macro level, minor is a lot. Pixel peeping fever I suppose? This post has been edited by jimmyyap03: Mar 8 2012, 11:00 PM |

QUOTE(toughnut @ Mar 24 2012, 07:25 AM) Agreed but my priority is size/weight. Those dslr not an option. X-pro 1 being considered but again, size issue.. Else I already grab those 5dmII for the same price of nex7 lol Congratulation Anyway, Sony center called me last night to pick up my virgin kit later straight from factory. |
