Sony NEX 5N really in short supply.. Lotsa Klang Valley shops i asked all no stock liao till mid of this Mth haizzz..

Anyone has an idea when Nex 7 + kit lens will be available in M'sia and pricing as well?

A new 18-55 lens sold separately for rm700 isit worth to get it? i m currently using 16mm only...>.<

NEX-5N does not have a hotshoe, only the Smart Accessory Terminal so the HVL-F20S is the only option besides the bundled HVL-F7S. Hope this helps.

yea.. like u want the effect where persons face to be nicely exposed on the left, but shadow on the right side then the flash is placed at an angle on the left. On camera flash u would get both sides equally lit.  Asking the person to stand next to a window is a workaround.

Placing the flash behind the person to get the golden glow around the Silhouette of the person.  I guess for more creative photos, external flashes would be an advantage.  I was interested with off camera flash, went hunting for YongNuo, but was put off by the lack of a hotshoe + preflash issue on NEX3,5.
On another note, I am not sure whether to be impressed or worried. 

I callled Sony service today; instead of cleaning the sensor as i have instructed, they went to look for dust in my kitlens and now want to help me to clean the dust inside the lens!! This they said would require opening it up and dunno what la. Hopefully the don't forget to clean the APS-C sensor before returning it to me and may i get back a working lens. No charges for the lens and sensor cleaning as the NEX is still under warranty.

which version of sigma 70-210mm?

i am finding a macro lens too, if focal length < 100mm, its hard to shoot animal except for some slow movements bugs, but if if not AF and OSS, >100mm is easily blur due to handshake... Dilemma

1st pic is taken @ f3.5, so its obviously sharper than the 2nd one, taken with f1.7...

a no brand adapter, for this lens is MD - e mount adapter, can get it less than RM50 from ebay
i am quite surprise for its performance too, as this lens is definitely older than me
