The NEX 50mm /F3.5 macro lens..I was offered ~ RM900+ at one of the camera shop in Digital mall Sec 14, PJ
Ended up getting the macro +10 filter from another stall..for RM150..That also not cheap as I can get cheaper octopus macro filter for RM50 nearby haha BTW, another of my macro-ing during weekend..dunno why I just like macro-ing flowers ![]() QUOTE(jimmyyap03 @ Feb 13 2012, 03:52 PM) Just get my NEX5N with 18-55m, wish to try out some macro picture... QUOTE(serewen @ Feb 13 2012, 09:44 AM) The software bundled with your camera. It should be able to do simple editing. Otherwise, Sony Vegas for Windows or Final Cut Pro for Mac. iMovie and Final Cut Express are able to edit them but you need to transcode them to intermediate formats before the program recognize them for editing. |

QUOTE(zarakiken @ Feb 13 2012, 09:31 AM) Hmm.. practically I use it for Sea/Lake/water/window/glass aka REFLECTIVE surface pictures. Example, if you are take a picture of a car windscreen in daylight you will get like a film of white covering the windscreen, obscuring the view of the interior . But with the CPL, the windscreen magically becomes clear again and will able to now see the dashboard and interior. Water.. instead of the silvery reflective, shimmering color, you will get to see through the water or see the real blue/green color of the sea. ... |

CPL filters can be tricky to use if you are trying to get rid of multiple reflections. Turn here reflections on side A gone, but side B appear. Turn there B gone A appear, or maybe I'm too noob
Example of multiple reflective surfaces: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « QUOTE(fansoption @ Feb 13 2012, 03:40 PM) SEL18200 around RM2k to RM2.3k, Tamron extra RM200 to RM300 for now... Hopefully the price will drop and they come out with a fix for blurry pano shot issue.QUOTE(jimmyyap03 @ Feb 13 2012, 03:52 PM) Just get my NEX5N with 18-55m, wish to try out some macro picture... If I recall correctly, there is only 1 native E-mount macro lens atm which stimix already mentioned. Or you can get a MD to NEX mount adapter for roughly RM50, plus a used Minolta lens for another RM450. However, have to MF lor if use cheap adapters, unless you wanna get LA-EA2 adapter and invest in A-mount lenses Any recommend on the lens? should i get the lens or adaptor on my 18-55m? QUOTE(Ah hao @ Feb 13 2012, 08:44 PM) You could be the first, be sure to post some shots! And be careful not to get any dust in the lens since its mounting side exposed to the outside world. This post has been edited by Dreamworks: Feb 13 2012, 10:21 PM |

If I would only like to buy the body with single lens, what lens would be recommended? Something wide angle and suitable for travel or just some normal photo shooting. I'm a newbie as I'm using PnS camera all these while. I'm afraid if I buy twin lens, one of it will only sit in the box collecting dust.
