Suggested 30ppm for nitrite level when WHO and other world bodies accept higher for similar products.

How you guys value a bird house these day? Still follow rm500 x number of nests? My valuation idea is abit different. Assume a bird house can generate rm10k per month, the bird house can command around 1.5mil to 2mil. Since 2mil at 6% p.a is equalvalent to 120k per year. Very much like shoplop except the tenants are swiftlet.

If valued at 1.5mil, the Yield is 8%.

Taking abit about Lynas really make me think:
1. Why wasn't the matter brought up long ago?
2. We @ here suffer the most cos at one side we have T***** and others and the other side, LYNAS and that's why someone from Kuantan asked me why aren't we worried, I just told them that we are already having danger at one side (very near) and another side, 35 KM, further away isn't the only problem at all.
3. I support the Anti LYNAS but wasn't it abit late but then again, better late then never!
4. If we were told of the LYNAS danger long ago, then today will be a much different affair, I think..........and we need the Japan's incident to awaken us.....if Japan did not had it's unfortunate incident, then there would be no Anti Lynas today, I think.
5. If MB is serious about staying near Lynas, then get 2 houses with me as his neighbour so that I can make sure that he drink from the local water instead of bottle water and stay there for atleast, 6 months per year.

Politician are politician and no politician are honest, clean and pious and I did told one politician that it is OK to get rewards but not at the expense of the raayat and the country. Even one JKKK head, I told him that he should not take his share from the money provided to the raayat but to ask the YAB to give him the reward if the YAB feels that he did a good job and deserve to be rewarded in the form of honorary title or land or even cash as our players also get their rewards when they did well. Otherwise, who want to be wakil raayat just to serve and nothing for himself or his family.............if there is such a man, I gladly kiss his foot.

So, we should show our support for the present protest to the best of our abilities to get the world to know what our Gmen has done to us............killing its own people.

if 1 nest= Rm30,
1 year= 3x30 = Rm90,
10 years, Rm90x10= Rm900 per nest

Now if, 1 nest=Rm13
1 year=Rm39
10 years= rm390 per nest

a 1K BH shall now value at Rm390K excluding the building but now, no buyer, so no quote also. Then, you may ask where to make profit buying? The gain shall be base on the ability on the increment of nests which at time maybe 2 fold every 3 years..or better.

Now, it's official !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the event will be held and need to know more, kindly contact your local swiftlets association and get them to organise buses load of swiftlets farmers and friends to support; for our future and those affected by the these greedy men.

At my local Association, we shall be going by few buses sponsor by the Association and this, I consider the money well spend for the future of the industry. Organised by the federal Swiftlets Association and you all better get organised and attend the protest in thousands to show our concern and anger over the delay and bad ways done to us. I heard that many Swiftlets Assoications have already started doing their part to participate in the coming event and I hope to see you all there.....cos no point talking only without any action. Now, it's time to show that we mean what we said and we are really ANGRY and MAD and willing to everything possible to ensure our rights and future aren't taken away.

If they want GOLD, then ask those F*** to do somewhere else and not with our EBN and we have suffer too much and too long.

Just a note, the rally objectives did not object the first thing tht most of us ask, why RFID when china govt only request below 30 for nitrite content of bn.

This rally some how has only ask our govt to stop RFID in farms but never object RFID tneeded to export, if this is final..tht only RFID processing plants in Malaysia are allow to export, no other ppls allow to enter this trade.....

The time is too short,by the time association ready,it might be too short notices for all members to come forward...maybe we can assist association to contact all our friends to get ready on 21st....it will a failure to selangor association if we are not able to get at least 3,000 selangor farmers to come to the rally.

What is the price selling bird nest for 1kg?

folks,

Just wondering.... since we are all talking about controlling the humidity and temp within BH, but what about external? I notice the temp(external-outside BH) has increased.. will whis affect the birds even internal humidity and temp are controlled within parameters


now my BH humidity is 85% and temp is 29C...

OK... thanks.. the populations seems to be stagnant for the past several months....

My BH is located on 1st floor shop by the road... however, behind my shop is a mini residential(100-150 terrace) then followed by forest(scrubs,palm oil,rubber tree, etc) then lastly a river....

the drop in price and chaotic red tapes makes me wonder if swiftlet ranching is a sustainable investment in long run....
