Actually IMO, JB one is better than Klang (I tried the Klang in Bandar Utama near Giza).  This one got the white mushroom and claypot ginger chicken. Shiok! Very famous store. Old but good.

One day if you drive up,  you can pass by my place in Yishun. I belanja and you provide transport. We gorge till no tomorrow and comeback with one big muscle. Set? wink.gif

Singapore bkt not as good. I tried the one at Rangoon road. Too spicey.

Have you ever try Geylang's Klang BKT?

There is no "best" bah kut teh. It all boils down to personal preference. Some like the soup to be herbal-based, some like it to be soya sauce-based, some like it without the extras (mushrooms, intestines, etc).

But hey, saying that Klang bah kut teh is not as nice as JB's is like saying Penang char kueh teow is not as nice as Klang char kueh teow (which is yummy also lah actually). Wanna kena whack ar!

Singapore BKT? No eye see. doh.gif

Klang boy here btw.

I only had 2 weeks to settle my accomodation and move to SG when I got transferred last time. March is like forever from now.

But a word of advice. Take your time to find a place that you are comfortable staying in! When I first got here I rented a room from an aunty from hell. Used to go through my stuff when I was away at work even though I locked the doors. Creepy! doh.gif

Sure or not? I tot klang bkt is standard with the franchises in KL? Taste should be the same rite? U mean the Klang one is not franchised? Which shop ah? I go try after CNY.

For sgls to rent. If you horny. You are lucky with the divorced, single, makeup and extremely friendly lady owner. Who knows you can rent for free. Then cabut later... lol. wink.gif
*
Alamak, no wonder lar....in Klang, may be there are hundreds if not thousands of BKT stalls. Sometimes, we also very confuse and cannot try it all. Those franchised one, i have no comment lar as we normally go into those "old shop" with the recipe may be pass down by many generation ago....but i will say every place have there own favorites.

Singapore bkt, to me is really doh.gif but it is thumbup.gif to the sinkaporians......if not, wong fei hung tutup gerai long long time already.....

Seriously, JPA never ask you all to serve Malaysia?

Singapore welcome Malaysian GOV spending their tax payer money to train future young SPR while their JDM RX8 gets to run on NSHW with petrol subsidy . Boleh lah..

Anybody here had the unfortunate experience of losing their malaysian IC and car license in singapore and how does one go about getting back a replacement in malaysia?

Will a singapore police report suffice to apply a replacement IC and driving license in malaysia or do i need to make another police report in malaysia itself?

I am under JPA local scholarship, i.e university in Malaysia. We have to apply for job with government agency within 6 months after graduate. But do you think government want us, non-bumi to work for them? Besides that, JPA money is what we supposed to get based on our result, it is not a matter of maruah or x maruah. I believe without bumi quota, and the same budget allocated for JPA, most of us can get JPA oversea scholarship easily.

The money is comes from tax paid by Malaysian, we shouldn't be grateful because that is what we suppose to get.

Which is your favorite international bank in Singapore?
Which is your favorite broker for trust, Fx and Stocks in Singapore?

I currently have DBS/POSB for salary, MBB SG for regional link bank M'sia. Thinking of getting one overseas bank for its facility and credit card (StanChart/Citi/HSBC or even ANZ). For trading, I've explored DBS Vickers, Oanda for Fx.
*
Stay away from ANZ credit cards. Thought i could use Internet Banking like the rest but nope they don't have IB facility for credit card holders so you can't monitor your transactions online. Even if they do, you can't apply IB online. You gotta print their form out, fill in and mail it back to them and wait for a few days then they mail your ID and password to you. Citi cards work good for me - with their discounts, rebates, points collection and IB facility.
