just wondering
when we apply for PR, we have to get some kind of approval/chop from our current company right?
what if we sent our application, are we allowed to change company or there will be some complication etc?

Yes, the stamp is to acknowledge that you are still an employee of the company during the time of application. Upon approval, you need to get your HR to stamp another letter.

And i think ICA is quite strict with the employment cos when i did my PR formalities the officer asked me "still in the same company? Did not change right?" twice.

Which is your favorite international bank in Singapore?
Which is your favorite broker for trust, Fx and Stocks in Singapore?

I currently have DBS/POSB for salary, MBB SG for regional link bank M'sia. Thinking of getting one overseas bank for its facility and credit card (StanChart/Citi/HSBC or even ANZ). For trading, I've explored DBS Vickers, Oanda for Fx.

Stay away from ANZ credit cards. Thought i could use Internet Banking like the rest but nope they don't have IB facility for credit card holders so you can't monitor your transactions online. Even if they do, you can't apply IB online. You gotta print their form out, fill in and mail it back to them and wait for a few days then they mail your ID and password to you. Citi cards work good for me - with their discounts, rebates, points collection and IB facility.

So does the H means I was born in Sabah, or it is to show that my passport was damaged before, or any other reason? Maybe a sabahan here can tell with me which alphabet your passport  starts with?

The passport number of this Sabahan here starts with H but not sure whether it's just coincidence or memang H for Sabahans.
