just did my home loan in May 2011.

documents that i submitted.

IRAS form.. (the BA or smth like that, the doc that show how much tax u pay).
Letter from Employer (to show how long u have worked there)
IC (Malaysia IC)
Work Permit (I low Class worker, so no EP. IF got EP, show EP, If PR, show them ur Singapore IC)
3 months Bank statement (Singapore bank, the salary account statement)
3 months pay slip
FD in Malaysia or SG if you have any (i dun have, so din show), this is optional and it will increase the chances of the loan getting approve.

Guys, thank you very much for your responses

Added on August 28, 2011, 10:09 amquestion for those car owners in singapore.. do you also need to get the JPJ letter for the insurance of the car ? to prove that you are a driver of many years so that the insurance is lower ?

Or we can make do with just our Malaysian driving license. ? Does it matter if the difference is 6 years or 10 years ? got discount... or is it totally not related. ?

some insurance company recognize the msian driving experience but most don't. so gotta start from year 1 as newbie after converting to Sg license. I think we are looking at around Sgd$2k -3k insurance (without ncb) first year for a 1.5L car.

Ncd transfer letter from MY insurance, JPJ don't track your ncd.

18 years of driving give you extra discount from some company. Most still consider your SG license pass date which is your conversion date but you can chose not to deal with agent that don't consider your MY driving experience.

Guys, I am in deep trouble. This is my first time working in Singapore and I am quite discouraged to learn that my company's management is not what I have expected. I was tipped off (I got to know from the staff who is leaving and that is when after I have signed the in-principle permit) that this company isn't good but during the interview they impressed me so much with their potential and plans. Plus it is an international brand.

I need advise on how to resign. I am just afraid that I wont be able to get another working permit from a new company or MOM due to my early resignation. I am going to start work this saturday and was thinking of leaving within the 3 months probations. And let say if they terminate me will that affect me if I find job again? Will the new company knows? Or should I just tell them and will they believe me? Gosh ....what a luck these days~

Please help me. I need guidance and advice badly now.

did you just joined my company? hehehe, i say give it a try till the probation period is up, then you can decide better.. some ex-employees just wanna blackmouth the company

Yes, you can rent a PO Box in SG. I rented one. I think they will need your fix address and your passport and you can open one.

r u sure. now they have increased to RM115 for each way. Can try transmart. their bus quite frequent but drivers also drive very fast. But i think it really depends who are your driver. For Friday night I still prefer to take flight and come back from malaysia to singapore by coach. However, most of the time I take flight.

Pasir Ris houses are the cheapest as they are the furthest east side of Singapore. I use propertyguru.com.sg to search for my house.

Hello all,
My Experience of getting a job in sg..
Waiting 2 months 14days for my IPA.
After that Goes for xray and waited 1 week for results due to holidays.
Made payment for card collection.. system technical error.
Waited 2weeks + for them to send me the EPSC letter manually.
Now,
Passport fully stamp. Can't change if not it will conflict with the EPSC letter. 1 day STVP entry left...
From what I heard from MOM, I do not need to stamp my passport anymore due to the EPSC letter which I will present to the ICA officer when I enter and exit sg. I wonder is it true. Anyone has experience on this matter?

I must be really unlucky when I apply for my pass >.<..

for the passport, if you do have some previous expired visas which are taking on the full page, it could be possible for you to tear it to reuse the page..
Seen some ang moh doing it... but i think it should be ok .. i haven't try it myself so can't confirm.

Bro, why do you need to make payment for card collection? I don't recall any charges apart from the medical check up which can be absorbed by the employer if you request a medical chit from them.

As for the stamping, i don't quite get your situation...

I never pay a single cent for my pass 3 employment passes. Find it weird unless you are sponsoring your own employment pass.
