is it easier for Malaysian to applied job in sg co but origin from Malaysia ?
*
i are the join companies factories in the malaysia but hq are the in sg

my companies are the 85% malaysians, hahaha, sg citizenians are the only 5%

i think chances are the better cause once on the time got the transfer from msia forward sg
QUOTE(seantang @ Aug 18 2011, 11:36 PM)
Don't become a PR if the company pays you in cash whatever CPF they would have paid if you were a PR.

Become a PR if the company doesn't contribute CPF unless you're PR.

Extra money is extra money even if you can't touch it until you're 55. Actually getting it in cash doesn't mean that you will (best case) invest it at a better return than CPF can, and (worst case) you could simply blow the money on something useless.
*
but the pr give good security feeling.. no?

jump are the workjobs are easier, not need the new ep pass i think

cpf are added no tax give the gov, but not in cpf give allowance in cash will get the tax income i think

55 are blink the eyes past, very faster and also cpf are the can use buy hdb, insurance, aberdeen... no needing the 55... no?

also gooding the SRS to no pay the tax... this 1 the friends teaches me if pr... also other the cheats to no or less taxing income

QUOTE(ryoryo @ Aug 26 2011, 01:21 PM)
Guys, I am in deep trouble. This is my first time working in Singapore and I am quite discouraged to learn that my company's management is not what I have expected. I was tipped off (I got to know from the staff who is leaving and that is when after I have signed the in-principle permit) that this company isn't good but during the interview they impressed me so much with their potential and plans. Plus it is an international brand.

I need advise on how to resign. I am just afraid that I wont be able to get another working permit from a new company or MOM due to my early resignation. I am going to start work this saturday and was thinking of leaving within the 3 months probations. And let say if they terminate me will that affect me if I find job again? Will the new company knows? Or should I just tell them and will they believe me? Gosh ....what a luck these days~

Please help me. I need guidance and advice badly now.
*
did you just joined my company? hehehe, i say give it a try till the probation period is up, then you can decide better.. some ex-employees just wanna blackmouth the company

Underpaid, yes...I do agree if you compare them with those in Sg.
However, they are not giving the impression of them deserving a higher pay too.
Look at the size of most of them and you will doubt they can even give chase after a suspect.

QUOTE(seantang @ Sep 1 2011, 12:15 AM)
I'm from Ipoh. I have voted in Ipoh Timur in every election since I came of age. My Ipohite compatriots and I have sacrificed everything from a decent tertiary education facility / university (TARC went to Kampar, held by BN, which had no facilities and no talent pool) to a working public transport system to regular trash collection. We've been practically decimated to a community of pensioners and retirees. Where young Ipohites are like Filipino maids and Indonesian workers... forced to journey afar in order to continue studying after SPM and thereafter make a living. Why? To put critical opposition members of parliament into office and send a clear statement to UMNO that the Chinese will bow to nobody. Besides taking a day off every 4 years to go back to vote, what have you done in comparison?
*
sorry state for previously awesome towns like ipoh... they produce a lot of talents and pretty girls... too bad future wont be the same for these places... the younger generations had all left and i doubt many would even return... thanks to the gov

Postal vote.... one of the BN conventional weapon.  wink.gif

If we want to keep MY passport, do our part else just convert and SG is ready to give you all sort of bonus.
*
will do so once given the opportunity
QUOTE(seantang @ Sep 1 2011, 02:25 PM)
Pretty simple to do postal votes. But there's a very significant population of Malaysians living overseas, who 100% will not vote for the govt. In addition, many of them will vote in constituencies where BN is the weakest... ie. areas with high % of Chinese votes. So, absolutely no incentive for BN to have postal votes for the public.

As for overseas/pendalaman armed forces, civil servants and their families postal votes... most of the eligible voters in this category don't even see their voting slips. It's filled in, submitted on their behalf and sent to any constituency where BN needs more votes to tilt the count to their side.

I picked up a couple of lots at $12 just after ex-dividend (thinking it was just a knee jerk reaction) and then the next day... the whole global stock market piang. Hoping it would get back to $11.50 or so to cut loss and re-enter later. But it never got there.

Maybe if it touches $10... I might pick up some more to average down. Luckily this counter is a decent dividend payer, so the paper loss doesn't hurt as much even if you hold.
