Interesting but knowing how kiamsiap PB is, i wonder how meagre the minimum credit limit for their Visa Infinite will be. RHB's starts at RM 200k according to their PDS, CIMB's at RM 100k. 50k?

If my memory serves me right, you have both the HL (prev EON) VS and HL Platinum Master before the merger. Out of curiosity, what happened to the cards after the merger (since you have both)?

Have they merged both bank's card database or still two separate cards with separate limits at the moment?

Oh Public Bank... it should be 1% for all local transaction and 2.5% - 3% for all overseas transaction This way many people will jump ship.

i notice the "Maybankard 2 Gold and Platinum Cards V2" thread is closed. So I guess will post here instead.

I just paid my recent credit card bills RM1,000.76 and it is showing as below:-

Minimum payment amount:
RM0.00
Outstanding balance:
RM0.00
Statement balance:
RM1,000.76

How come my statement balance is still RM1,000.76 and not ZERO? Before this it will always show ZERO when I clear my credit card? A bit confused.

Any help? Thanks.

The statement balance will only be updated in the next bill cycle.

As long as Outstanding Balance shows RM0.00 ... mean you don't owe the bank

As of date only the Ex EON Bank statement letterhead logo is changed to HLB logo, others remain the same e.g separate CS number and CL. Not sure for new customers.

Talking about PBB CL for their VI, you might be surprised that the CL may be high since one needs to deposit RM500K to enjoy their Red Carpet privileges.

Please elaborate on the names of the card issuers where their representative call you to offer you new credit cards. It is very common for them to call to offer personal loans, BT or other card promotions but not many call me to offer new card.

for me i was offered the MBB VI thru phone call last fri and received the card today. decided to keep the mbb2 card plat as weel as adviced by genx. might cancel my mbb WMC since its almost the same as the MBB VI?

For me, for the past 2-3 weeks, I receive 2 calls from Price Solution for stanchart personal loan, BT and CC.
Also, single call from Citibank for personal loan and CC.

WMC makes u enrich miles... while VI makes u treat points to change goodies...

WMC comes with hilton card while VI comes with starwood card...

WMC allowing u to enter Mas Golden lounge (xtra 500 bucks) while VI allowing u to enter normal lounge all around the world..

WMC from Master and VI from Visa

WMC looks cool, VI looks cooler

WMC got no much dining previlleges but VI comes with alot of Buy 1 free 1 offer..

While walking at 1u old wing last saturday, i was offered maybank visa infinite using other cc with minimum credit limit of 40k by one agent at the booth, very low requirement indeed, not so premium after all.

Too bad. Nowadays,ppl prefer platinum with gold benefit. No much ppl want god with platinum benefit.

Really ? But Maybank doesn't accept fresh application simply using your existing card as reference anymore, not since March this year.
