if a person is able to qualify for a Premier card, he/she should be as smart as me or even cleverer and no need me to teach anything, haha

haha, yah, order a scone at Dome for tea and get free coffee ( i prefer flat white), for my case, my wife has the CIMB black cards too, so we separate the bill and get two drinks free Same goes for GSC movie tickets where my son also got the CIMB WMC, so get 3 free tickets, hahaha

nvr tried that b4... if u seperate the bills, do u need to sit @ different tables? we tried that alot using amex @ shang and WMC @ hilton... 4 of us go, paying for 2, but they have to separate us into 2 tables next to each other...

about gsc... i seldom go movie... but i tok u need to buy 1 ticket inorder to get another one free, right? and now CIMB only offer normal class b1f1 ticket @ gsc , right? while HSBC still offering all class including gold class b1f1...

yes need to be separate bills, for my case, I usually go with my family, and I be smoking away outside whereas they are at the aircon table. As for scone, I eat alone for tea while waiting for them at shopping malls.

Yah CIMB buy 1 free 1 ticket and for normal class only now (which is just nice when my eldest is back here since there are 6 of us).

To All: just posted a short post on Hong Leong Bank 5% cash back promotion. But the promo is for selected cardholders only, i.e. they will receive SMS from HLB. I guess this is worst than HSBC needing us to register. Promo runs to 28th Feb 2012 and cap at RM40 payable one time only

Yes, the Midas is "prestigious" and has been around very long and many filthy rich men having UOB account has it. It can be said it was one of the very first Premier card issued in Malaysia. But the card not much benefit.

From now till 29 Fen 2012, HSBC client can use VS or premier card to buy 1 free 1 at GSC (premier and gold class).

Is it so hard to get a credit card? I had been working for 6 mths now and application being reject by 3 bank.

Is is that someone need to work for 1 year in order to apply credit card?

So, is it just premier and gold class or in all classes ?

I can't seems to find any reason why they reject me. Had applied for MBB, AMB and UOB all got rejected. Given them printed online account statement where my salary accredited, 3 mths payslip, epf statement and offer letter from company.

It could be that your record is too clean or you've been a guarantor to someone else that someone else has defaulted on his bills before, thus affecting you.

Anyway, you can try some other more lenient banks such as CIMB Bank, Citibank or Standard Chartered Bank.
