what do u guys think about stronglifts.com?
it says split training is CRAP (which I've always been doing)
and i have difficulty understanding what it says about the form.. that's why i haven't start the program.

HELP. oh i haven't really train with the barbel in my life. just dumbbells work.

split is crap for beginners but not for pro body builders.
the general concept of stronglift is eat a lot + lift heavy > gain
it doesn't really build that much muscle though but your strength will go up very very fast, it's a strength program after all.
if you're just starting off you probably want to start with that to build some strength first as a base and then you can jump to body building style of training when you get tired of it
there aren't many pros here really, just a couple of people like darklight bata ken etc etc who really knows what they are doing..too much broscience here dude.
do some search on bb.com/tnation and such but avoid being eaten raw by marketing scheme. haha

Testing new cycle.

Protein blend.
Creatine Mono.
Pwo - Kinda fatigued after work, this helps. SPM.
BCAAs and Citrulline Malate - Xtend (Burning a hole in my wallet at the rate I'm going through it)

Diet caloric intake remains unchanged, though fat burn cardio incorporated after workouts to lean out. 3-4 lifting days, 2 cardio days and 1 rest day.

I thought with the increased cardio I might see a drop in weight, but it's a 2 kg gain in 9 days.

Guessing it's water as well, too quick to be anything else. It just jumped at the end of the first week.

how much do i spent.. well i don't really calculate much but i can giv a list for a week.

4 hl milk x RM 6.29 (new with plant sterol)
18 piece chicken breast + 2 chicken = RM 78 which i bought last saturday
vege (tomato, cucumber, lettuce ++) = around RM 10
4 box of egg( 10 eggs each) x RM 4.20
2 wholemeal bread ( gardenia or high 5) x RM 3.20
cheese/nut/seed = didn't calculate because it can last quite long

only lunch time, sometime the chicken too plain or too hungry, one economy rice just cost me Rm2.00 - 2.50 (rice and veggie)

there goes for a week.. not including protein and other stuff...

costly?

I'm not using animal pak, but it's about swallowing a shit load of pills day and night isn't it? But I suppose it's more than just a multivit. I'm using AST MultiPro32x

It's quite simple. Want to look like a bodybuilder train like one. Want to look like a powerlifter, train like one. Cause and effect. Some idiots will say train like a powerlifter eat like a bodybuilder. Meh... A powerlifter will still look like a powerlifter no matter how much he diets down. Sure some will use examples like Ronnie Coleman and Johnny Jackson as bodybuilders who came from powerlifting backgrounds but for every one of those, there is a successful bodybuilder who did a bodybuilding split from day 1 of training.

And even if they came from powerlifting, they still used splits when they switched to bodybuilding. However we can't really compare ourselves to pros. There just too many varriables to consider. Do what you think its best for YOU.

I do agree starting strength is great for beginners. Ain't gonna do much if you're benching 20 kilos for months on end
