actually I am quite worry on that.
Bcz it is stated in the application form that, quote:
"Please note that education qualification is a key criterion in the assessment of the applicant’s eligibility for a work pass and should be provided where
applicable."

haha.. tkz but I have been checking and viewing and reading the MOM website on the TEP for hundreds of times..
But there are certain things not mentioned in the website,
such as the education details that I asked previously.
In MOM website, they didnt teach on how to fill in the certain sections.
So have to ask whoever that has experience in applying passes..

the specialization and major just put science, i only study till STPM, and when i apply for my work permit, i just fill science on both of them and it got approved.
then under university, put SMK XXXXXX can d.

Gentle reminder to all : Every detail that you key INTO MOM, will be treated as FINAL CONFIRMATION for your info / education.

I attach a sample of S-PASS for Malaysian that already approve for S-Pass just with SPM and PMR..

hi guys, I got my work permit approved when my company suggested to try for WP. I'm now WP holder with $2.8k salary
I am not familiar with WP. Personally I am ok with holding WP as I am not going for PR at this moment yet but anything I need to note here? anything different from S/EP? like renting a room or subscribe for internet etc?

sent my TEP form to HR this morning.
But no response from the HR yet.
Feel like the HR is quite slow in replying.
Should I call the HR directly to inform her?
by doing this, will she feel fed-up or not?

Please be patient that MOM website under maintenance. Receive this email few days ago..

Due to the closure of Online and Counter Services on 30 June 2011 (Thursday) from 1pm onwards, employers are advised to cancel the work passes for their workers in WPOL/ EPOL before 12pm on 30 June 2011 if their departure date is on the same day or on 1 July 2011 (Friday). Once the cancellation has been approved, please print the Special Pass (Short Term Visit Pass) in WPOL/ EPOL to facilitate the departure of the workers before the system shuts down at 1pm. For urgent cases, the workers can depart using the work pass card & employers can cancel the work pass subsequently.

Normal services will resume on 1 July 2011 (Friday) 8am.

We once again apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Is it worth IF just because of the giving wrong the minor information, you get rejected and need to wait 3 week to appeal for the pass?
