QUOTE(irene_gal @ Apr 18 2011, 10:32 AM) Dear all, I would like to know is it difficult for malaysian to get a job in s'pore banking industry? Thanks in advance! It is the most popular industry in the market now. Even engineers and lawyers are looking get their foot in. Even graduates from local universities find it hard to enter because of foreign talent (I mean those came out from ivy leagues). How do you think? No harm trying but not to discourage, it is very very competitive. Unless you don't mind to work in back office. This post has been edited by icycokes: Apr 18 2011, 01:44 PM

QUOTE(stereokumonomu @ May 6 2011, 10:27 AM) im not sure if thats a lot, since the living cost here cost a bomb. back in malaysia im sure 800-1000/month is common for intern? Not that big if u give a thought on my friend who is working with microsoft as intern earning 2500sgd for internship, the top company like Accenture only pays $1300 for biz student (and must be cream of the crop). microsoft is being very generous here already.. so as is your company. it is kinda suprising to me that IT students earn that much. The Jam is crazy, unless u willing to stand 1 hour + on the 170 bus, then its ok. poor johoreans.. luckily its my sem break now. what the f they doing? testing this stupid new policy in school holidays? cant they just think before they act?

right. sometimes i wonder what is the use for us to scan our passport and input our fingerprints? this is totally unnecessary. they have not been recording since the 60's but now why they wanna do it?
i could understand if they want to record our departures and arrivals for some serious reasons, but there are times when the system is down and we get through without scanning our passports. this is totally ridiculous. this is about our national security and how can they mess around with it?
i know they arent stupid. there must be some benefits for them to gain behind this. be it more jobs for redundant servants or the contract with extravagant profits.

i believe the bus will arrive at beach road. sure take a taxi is the easiest way out but its not hard to travel by train and bus too. you can always look into gothere.sg. log on to the website, input your departure and destination and it will show you the routes. it even shows which bus or train you need to take. as well as the approximate fares. here i got the route for you (travelling from golden mile to bedok reservoir road) http://gothere.sg/maps#q:golden%20mile%20t...eservoir%20roadgood luck

Remember we all have our rights to speak out what we want. This is what we called freedom of speech
Just talk all you want, you know who you are. I (or we?) wouldn’t give a damn about it. So what if you are an EP holder or some PhD? You are just an ignorant ******* who is fortunate enough to go a college. I feel pathetic for you. Seriously.

i think you are being over paranoid. those minor information could be filled in using common sense.
dont make it sounds like you are begging them for the application.
