Elderly should be fine.
Pregnant 1 may be a bit tricky sometimes.
Mistake them and you might feel the wrath of the lady for "assuming she is pregnant"  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Nah, most singaporeans are to shallow to be not be insulted if you think their pregnant since they get a seat in return.

right. sometimes i wonder what is the use for us to scan our passport and input our fingerprints? this is totally unnecessary. they have not been recording since the 60's but now why they wanna do it?

i could understand if they want to record our departures and arrivals for some serious reasons, but there are times when the system is down and we get through without scanning our passports. this is totally ridiculous. this is about our national security and how can they mess around with it?

i know they arent stupid. there must be some benefits for them to gain behind this. be it more jobs for redundant servants or the contract with extravagant profits.

i believe the bus will arrive at beach road. sure take a taxi is the easiest way out but its not hard to travel by train and bus too.

you can always look into gothere.sg. log on to the website, input your departure and destination and it will show you the routes.

it even shows which bus or train you need to take. as well as the approximate fares.

here i got the route for you (travelling from golden mile to bedok reservoir road)

http://gothere.sg/maps#q:golden%20mile%20t...eservoir%20road

good luck smile.gif

i dun think there is difference between SGreans and foreigns. it's whether u use EZlink or cash. cash is standard rate.
EZlink slight cheaper. WOrth it if u use it long run, cos u nid to pay deposit.

Like what been said, cash or ezlink.

Since you are a visitor, you can check smrt web for their visitor day pass. You can use it to find jobs, sight seeing etc. Cheaper than ezlink if you travel a few trip in a day.

Anyone filled-up the white card "numbers of days to stay in SG" as 14 days but actually stay till 30 days only leave SG...?

Are there any consequences since the max stay is 30 days?
*
it depends on how many days they gave u during your entry into SG.
check your passport...if they stamped 30 days for u, then no problemo bro.
jez dun exceed the no. of days the SG immi gave u, otherwise u'll be deemed to have overstayed --> illegal immigrant?! shocking.gif

gothere.sg is very useful.
You need to ask where the bus stops.
There is Golden Mile (nearest MRT is Nicoll Highway - Yellow Line...a bit further will be Lavender - Green Line) and also Kovan Hub (Should be Purple Line).

The day pass is not worth it unless you are visiting the zoos and other tourist attractions.
Last time I took it, it was SGD8 per day if I remember correctly.
It do come with some vouchers which are not quite useful so you may be paying more than paying cash.

Day pass is for those that pack a few bus or mrt trip in a day. Still good if you have a few interview in different area then go a few places to relax at night before you get back to hotel. SGD 8 is really not much. Visitor don't need to buy tic for each trip, save time. It is unlimited trip, you will use it even it is just one bus stop away.
