I'm going to work in Singapore in June. Just wanted to know where is the best place to stay if my work location is at Beach Centre?

Some mys friend stay in Pungool.. but my potong pasir friend advise me to look somewhere else like Bugis.

SGD500-800 budget.

Try looking at:

http://www.flathub.com
http://www.easyroommate.com.sg
I'm looking for a place too but its hard to get a proper place. I am also moving to Singapore by the end of this month.

When I mean proper I mean a room with:

1.Air conditioning
2.Internet
3. Allowed cooking .....I'm a vegetarian and cook same thing always.....

that mean have not other mean.. have to go through agent??

Its just for identification purposes. I doubt it will cause any problem. You are just giving her a copy.
You need E pass to open bank account, to set up ur post paid mobile account, show agents require proof of work permit , so its really common to give out such details.

No idea about stamp duty though.

bro...tenant need to bear the tenancy agreement fees / stamp duty??
or wholely bear by landlord? notworthy.gif

Low spending, UOB One. This is my primary card. Good for Malaysia as well, as the 3% (or so) rebate is just right to offset foreign currency transaction fees.

UOB ONE Card
Spend over S$300 in each of the 3 consecutive statement periods* and you will receive S$30 cash rebate per quarter with minimum 3 purchases per staement period in 3 consecutive statement periods.

If let say 1 mth cant hit the S$300 threshold.. then get "nothing" jor? doh.gif
