err.. bro, it all depends on yer budget, I wud suggest the STORM G4, but it's quite hefty.. cause it needs a high Heads pump to match with... which is quite hefty oso. sad.gif and the cheap ones(pump) had a lot of thermal dump issue to the loop..

Well, metalzone is our current xtreme watercooling bulker right now, and there are some interesting choices that you can pick from his bulk.

Why not save a little and wait for Metalzone's Maniac Watercooling Combo that beat the crap out of all the taiwanese kit (sorry mod, you're free to edit this cause i've got carried away) to arrive in a few weeks time.. I hope.. (bro david you'd better ready with the kit, i've put my a$$ on the line here bro).

errr... if i'm not mistaken look for those low resistivity block such as MCW6002, apogee, maze 4, somewhere along that line.. please refer to the watercooling guide's sticky/pinned thread, i'm sure there's an answer there...

@amok,

tdk or rbx is not for nirox.

erm....

most likely its AquaXtreme WhiteWater LE.

i think this is suitable for Nirox.

Looks like this thread is kinda silent. so let me bump it up with a few screenies. i bought a nirox p2800 from MetalZone and it arrived yesterday. done some customization to the pump. so here's what i did to the pump.

first i build a relay box so that the pump will turn on when i turn on my pc. i also added a bypass switch so i dont need to turn on my pc during bleeding process. here's the pic

user posted image

Next i need a reservoir. i see some watercooling kit that come with Eheim pump have a reservoir that snaps to the pump itself. i like those so i make my own recycling the plastic barbs that came with the pump.......but its not that pretty though laugh.gif ( excuse me for using 1/4" barbs...hehehe blush.gif )

user posted image

thats it for now, hope this will spice up this thread a little bit. oh btw, someone already bought MetalZone Budget Kit.....cant wait to see some results. smile.gif

Edit:

someone asked me for the relay box circuit...so i'm posting it here so everybody can see.

note:

pay extra attention to the value of relay and switch. for my nirox pump, it will draw around 0.2A from the mains so the value that i'm using there is already more than enough.

the diode is there to protect your psu and the rest of the ciruit in your rig. since the relay is basicly a coil of wire with magnets, it can conduct some electric current with reverse polarity during switch-off. the diode will short-circuit the current before it reach your psu.

Shah, the bypass switch work when we switch off the PC and turn it on without turning on the PC right?

How about the relay, 5 pins or 8 pins? The Normally Open (NO) connected to the diode, soldered to the other NO pin? Is that right....? Do you have the more specific schematic sheet for the relay box circuit?

i think the schematic is specific enough. you can clearly see its a 5-pin relay. incase you cannot read schematics i have draw one with photoshop smile.gif this is how the relay looks like when you flip it up-side down to view its pins. for the value of the components, refer to my previous post.

Shah, maybe you should offer this as a service for watercooler's out there not all of us are well learnt about circuitry diagrams and have access to the necessary tools. I'd pay for a unit you plan to produce a few. No need to complete it all just build the relay box and attach the necessary molexes which we can fit up later upon receipt
