Nope! Running Windows Vista Ultimate 64. Usually if i were to install any os, i would normally download directly from the internet instead of relying from archives programs.

The solution is in adobe website. During the extract of the file, after it finsih extract b4 you install, go to the temp folder which adobe extract and copy the extracted file out to your desktop. Then u can cancel the setup. Just install your adobe on the extracted directory which you copy to your desktop.

Windows Firewall in Vista failed me. I tried to block all outbound connections and add the programs one by one into the exception list. Guess what? My Internet died. Couldn't sign in to Windows Live Messenger, surf web pages using Firefox. sweat.gif

Oh yeah, it didn't even ask me whether I should allow or block a particular program. That was why I had to add them one by one into the exception list. Even the Windows Firewall in Windows XP SP2 also gives notification when a program is launched. Since it's a full-fledged firewall, I think Microsoft is ought to make it more user friendly.

Actually, the Windows Firewall in Windows Vista is quite powerful. It's able to block unwanted inbound connections. It should be able to compete with other 3rd-party firewall softwares. Just that it's not so user friendly, judging from the problem I faced. The only way now is to allow all outbound connections. This is sometimes a good thing as there are less notifications. But it's harmful if your PC has some unknown softwares or malwares accessing the Internet without your knowledge. smile.gif

Hi guys.

Just wondering, is it possible to install windows xp after installing windows vista first? or is it only possible vice-versa?
