Yup, i search hi and low and there is no control of Aero setting or flip 3D at all.
*
how much ram do you have? this also happened to me and I think it happens when Windows detects your ram isn't optimum for running Aero.

You have to manually reenable the option in windows registry. I forget what are the exact keys to change but basically you need to change two keys, try and google for it. I don't remember as I am back to using XP, I seldom boot into Vista.

So far, the flip thingy is quite useless imo. I never bother with it.

i've tried installed 'ahem' software on windows  vista(photoshop CS2) and it run smoothly, no auto deletion and so fourth... but dont! support original software! i've just spend almost RM3k++ for CS2 licenses... smile.gif

I think missing file could be due to antivirus protection? (auto-delete virus)

hey guys, I have a few questions about vista (i am a Mac OSX user so vista is pretty new to me, I am quite comfortable with XP however).

Firstly, on my vista machine, i can surf the internet fine, I am using it to write this post. Thing is that,

1) I can't activate my copy of windows, yes I am using a legit (OEM) copy of windows vista ultimate
2) I can't download any system updates for my PC either. It keeps saying cannot connect or something like that.
3) I can't log into MSN messenger

All the other functions of my vista machine work fine. So I don't see why it should be the way it is.

Please help! XD

thanks

hell
if wanna ply dx10 games muz install vista then???
no hope to ply crysis then zzzz

I dont think the developers would so gross to come out DX10 only game right? I expect that in the near future, while attempting the glamorous of DX10, they would include a legacy rendering using DX9, Vista still has DX9 files hidden, just for DX9 games compatibility.. Except that M$ Halo 2, no other games would be Vista exclusive, no one developer other than M$ would ever dare to do that laugh.gif

I ve waited for 10 mins during the transition from the loading screen to the colorful screen, but the pc's status remain mystery as whether it is working or not after I seen the colorful screen.. no HDD LED, only the DVD LED lit on once in 1-2 minutes...

btw, I havent format the C: WinXP drive yet, can it be formatted in vista setup ?

does it take so long to install?

When I said no warez discussion, I really meant it.

Even if it's indirect one, I'll still give you a 10% warning. If you repeat it again, don't blame me for suspension
