I heard that VISTA will include directx 10 which means all those games that come out later will require directx 10 to play on full detail. Since no GPU right now support directx 10 even 7800GTX.....
Also heard those GPU only come out end 2006, guess i wont buy any right now.

I heard need a 256 mb gpu to run aero glass function on vista and also min 1Gb ram. Also need a gpu that support at least directx9.0 such as the gefroce 6 series and above. Any amd64 will do.

did u enable guest account in users account?
control panels>users account>guest account>turn on guest account

To set password for people when they want to log in to your shared files or printers:-
control panel>performance and maintenance>administrative tools>computer managment>local users>user>right click on guest to set password

win vista beta can use autocad or not?

vista beta got directx 10 right?

why is window vista defragmenting so slow? i used xp last time, and i can defrag a drive of 80Gb in 1 min, now i defrag it in vista, 30 min already.

i also got 1 more problem here, i cant play .rmvb files anymore with real one player, apparently it doesnt support vista.

i already got klite installed. u use what player to play .rmvb and .rm files?

windows vista is a bit buggy, i also experienced a bit of minor things.

windows media player classic gone from vista? y i cant find it?

i installed all sorts of codecs edi.
real one player 10.5 is crazy, it doesnt seem to work in my new windows.

creative soundcard driver for vista still buggy for me, but nvidia vista beta work well in games, but problem is i cant monitor my gc temp.

hmm, windows vista got window defender. what does it do? i already got avg, do i need to disable one of them to free more resources?

defender banyak macam le, also same like AVG, always need to update, if not update, it will pop up, pop up, pop up so many times.

why is window vista so slow in cutting or copying files to another partition? it wants to calculate, even delete from recycle bin also that so slow compared to windows xp.

want to ask, will a directx 10 graphic card make any difference to the AERO function compared to a directx 9 graphic card?

hello, i was in an interconnected network.
after i installed vista, i can online for about 3-4 days before i totally lose internet connections until now. but now i can still connected to the network and see other computers but not the internet. Diagnosing the problem give me the message 'DNS server pinged and recieved no response'. please help me, i dun wan to revert back to winXP.

what is wrong with VISTA actually?
i am very frustrated here;

i wan copy a 500mb file into a pendrive and it took 20mins still havent finish. I tried it in WinXp and it was 5x faster....5 mins only. It seems to be scanning something? 'calculating time remaining'.

plus everytime i wan move files to recycle bin, install tiny puny programs in VISTA...a confirmation screen will come out.

anyone knows how to disable all this shit?
