QUOTE(mzms @ Jan 31 2007, 10:01 PM) Haha, same thing happened with my AVG antivirus. Yahoo messenger so far works well. You mean you reinstall over blank hard disk and reinstall all your software twice and still same problems? BTW what build is your copy? Using the RTM version, I reinstall a fresh new vista but not long after that it will occur again so annoying T_T

QUOTE(Xefron @ Feb 9 2007, 03:00 PM) is Windows Vista Full Version has the option to do upgrade rather than doing a clean install ? I think for upgarde you need to run the disc from windows first. As for fresh install, u boot with the disc. So the full version can do both. correct me if i m wrong This post has been edited by yoko: Feb 9 2007, 04:58 PM

QUOTE(ALIAS.JG @ Feb 10 2007, 10:37 AM) does anyone have difficulty installing adobe reader 8 on vista ?? I'm running 64 bit vista home premium but i keep getting this same msg which temp folder is it referring to ? QUOTE(toughnut @ Feb 10 2007, 11:06 AM) same problem encountered. clear the temp and prefetch folders but still happen. revert back to AR7. i think its software conflict. btw i'm using 32bit vista The solution is in adobe website. During the extract of the file, after it finsih extract b4 you install, go to the temp folder which adobe extract and copy the extracted file out to your desktop. Then u can cancel the setup. Just install your adobe on the extracted directory which you copy to your desktop.

Added on February 21, 2007, 12:13 pmHi there... have everyone try the Readyboost...who got put 1 gb or 2 gb Thumbdrive in it... tell me izzit really boost up the performance in gaming...or read files.. faster.... I use 1GB but I feel that there is a slight increase in performance or maybe just now imagination If u got unused tumbdrive just put it in, but if u tend to buy a tumbdrive just for te readyboost feature might as well as physical RAM which gain u more performance.
