Just turned down the offer for Master WORLD card from Maybank. The officer mentioned it is only by invitation. The card is good for frequent traveller using MAS.

Good enough to keep three platinums from Maybank...

i wanna ask if i purchase at metrojaya, Mid Valley, will i be entitled for the 15% cash back + 5x point?

For the current Amex cards (not Maybankard 2 Amex), purchases made at Metrojaya departmental store give you 2x points only + 15% cash back (current promotion, applicable only if the RM1 mil payout per month is still available).

I think somebody shared in the other thread that he/she successfully registered Maybankard 2 AMEX for the 15% cash back.

Many already received for Nov spending. But i did not, so i gave AMEX a call and apparently im not registered in their system, but i already did send the SMS and received the confirmation SMS back, so they said they will do mine manually. If you think ure in a similar case, try to give them a call.

They're starting to realize that they're starting to lose market share. CIMB has been very aggressive lately; not just in CC but also other financial products.
