The Maybankard 2 Platinum won't come with the yellow Maybankard logo. Instead, it will be similar to the one like their World MasterCard.

Yeah ... i remember him as well. He was still active up till early last year. If my memory serves me correctly, he was in Australia for quite sometime. He did post his centurion card here too

No. I am not an existing Maybank credit card holder. Used to be a Maybankard AMEX Gold supplementary card holder but it was canceled 2 years ago and my last savings account with Maybank was closed more than 6 months ago.

Yes. Maybank practically is sabotaging its own products. First it was the VISA Petronas, then they come up with the AMEX Gold and now this Maybankard 2 Good to us though. My Treatpoints are growing like weeds

Sure. Why not ? Just request for a replacement card Be sure to ask them to waive off the replacement card fee though.

Definitely can. All you need to do is to request for the replacement card over the phone and tell the CS your existing one has broken into two and that you have thrown it to the dustbin

FYI, i did not return my old HSBC credit cards last time when i requested for replacement cards due to me changing all my official signature.

When i helped my mom to cancel her Maybankard AMEX Gold (in 2009) and AMEX Green Charge Card (in 2010), all i did was to fax the credit card cancellation letter to their credit card department and voilà, the card was canceled a few weeks later and she did not even have to surrender her cards.

No. Of all the seven different places i used my AMEX in, only Sakae Sushi KLCC is using Maybank EFT POS terminal. The rest are either using the EFT POS terminals from Public Bank (Kinokuniya), CIMB Bank etc.

Some Maybank CS said yes. You may change to the MasterCard when it becomes available. However, i would suggest you to wait because i this is Maybank we are talking about and they always mess things up.

Used my Maybankard 2 AMEX at 5 different places yesterday and all have already been posted to my M2U. Only Carrefour Mid-Valley is using the Maybank EFT POS terminal whilst the rest are using Citibank's, CIMB's, UOB's etc
