QUOTE(winner @ Jan 20 2011, 05:17 PM) It is easy to clear MR points as we can redeem cash. As for TP, it is not as attractive as MR. We can only redeem physical stuffs and shopping vouchers. Agreed on this point... hopefully TP can be turn to cash in due time ;-)

QUOTE(pokgaizai @ Jan 25 2011, 03:03 PM) Thought of cancel the old card before the annual GST charged.... :P Nope, no penalty for Maybank 0%, just need to write a letter to them. For SCB, penalty RM100 for early settlement! Earlier you said 8.88% interest charged if transfer remaining 0% Easy-Payment Installment balance. Unless we fully settle the payment in the old card without any early-exit payment.

QUOTE(nokia2003 @ Jan 26 2011, 01:16 AM) quick question, is there any monetary penalty/fee for replacing damaged/lost/stolen AMEX cards (both charge and credit) thanks! RM50 per card... stolen gets a waiver with a police report.

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Feb 2 2011, 04:33 PM) Thanks Winner... I thought Amex card with Maybank logo is at 1.5% foreign rate. Seems I was wrong. Thanks for the update. I'll be going to SG soon so I'll rely on OCBC Titanium, and still considering should I get M2Amex to replace my current Amex Gold CC... still waiting for my 15% cash rebate... otherwise I would have already canceled it... Definitely go cancel AMEX Gold Credit Card once you receive all your 15% Cash-Back rebate. Last Payout month would be April 2011 (for Feb's spending). Once you have the Maybankard2 combo, use the Maybankard2 Visa for lower forex admin fees (0.5%)

But remember SGD to RM = 2.35... so unless you can spend below SGD435... highly unlikely ;-)

It will be great news if it follows existing CC's GST anniversary. So we can earn 5% weekend rebates first :-)

Maybankard2 doesn't require call-in to activate once you receive your CC. Can use immediately.

QUOTE(winner @ Feb 12 2011, 10:20 PM) It is not possible to do it online at this point in time. If you want to use Amex paying Maxis bills, you need to do it at Maxis centres. Which Maxis Centre accepts AMEX CC as payment method ?
