I think somebody shared in the other thread that he/she successfully registered Maybankard 2 AMEX for the 15% cash back.

They're starting to realize that they're starting to lose market share. CIMB has been very aggressive lately; not just in CC but also other financial products.

I doubt that easy to get a Platinum CC from MBB/AMEX.
Perhaps they're trying to lure to apply and ended up getting a Gold CC. |

That facility from Maybank is called EzyPay Plus. EzyPay is not the normal 0% installment initiated at the point of sale at merchant side. |

Regarding changing the Maybankard 2 Visa to Mastercard later in Apirl, I have been talking to 2 CS this week and both of them said not possible; meaning I have to terminate the current Maybankard 2 AMEX/Visa and re-apply for Maybankard 2 AMEX/Mastercard.
